    This is probably a dumb thought, but I wonder if quarter length has something to do with it? I remember in 2k5 if you simmer on 15 minute quarters , you'd get outrageous stats in every category. I wonder if you simmed a season with quarter length set at 6 minutes what would happen?

      really ? over 8 players has over 15 sacks in 9 games now lol. that pretty ridiculous higher

    It's nuts that year after year they don't, won't, or can't fix this...... Heck, if they said it was something really difficult to do, I'd be willing to give them an ever so slight break but, my goodness. How long has it been? Have they ever gotten sim stats right?

      What you want is for them to rewrite the entire sim stat system from the ground up. It's well known that the current sim stat system is complex and difficult to work with, and from what I recall, the person who built it no longer works there, meaning the remaining guys are having a tough time working with it.

        Guys, sacks are out of control in BOTH sim stats and live regular games. In fact it's worse when playing the games. I only saw high level players get 35 sacks for the season a few times. It's not every time i simmed the year.

        What's really bad is the LIVE regular games that you play versus the CPU. Alot of games it's anywhere from 3-10 sacks per side per game. It's bad. I've been slider testing alot of different settings. Nothing yet has fixed it. It's a problem between the QB's holding onto the ball too long, but more so that the o-line make really stupid decisions and don't pass block well.

          I would also add that on top of too many sacks WAAAAYYYY too many go to DTs. I had a game with 17 sacks and 12.5 were by DTs with one guy having 5.5. This game is pretty much a hot mess right now.

            Yea the DT's got a huge jump in ratings because of the Nose Tackle position which is ridiculous, and also the pass rushing traits being on DT's instead of Edge Rushers.

            Franchise mode is broken.

              Did some testing it is similar to past games sim stats are tied heavily to playbooks



              Bengals are pass heavy offense that has QBs hitting 4500-5500 yards

              KC has the playbook that uses the TE the most but still under a 1000 yards

              DET has a semi two back set but has Goff throwing under 400 times per season

              Ravens playbook is still stuck in 2018 with Lamar passing for obly 3000 but still lacking rushing wise with 700 the max for a season.

              Cowboys and Steelers defense have inflated sack numbers and always end up top 5 defense.

              They really need to fix these by the first patch can’t be promoting better sim stats when it’s clear it has not been touched or tested before release

                Read on the College 26 board about how increasing the Illegal Block in the Back penalty creates a better pocket. I tested it for several games in Slow Sim on 90 and saw a significant decrease in sacks and pressures. Seeing mostly 5-6 per game for both teams now, as opposed to the insane numbers beforehand.

                    I've done multiple sims and seeing the same thing. Sim stats are exactly the same. Awful. They got Lamar running less now. QBs averaging under 200 yards a game. I could go on and on. I put Jamarr Chase catching at 1 and he still caught 113 passes. Why do playbooks mean more then attributes? I lowered Mahomes passing attributes to all 55s. He still threw for 35 td and 67% completion percentage.

                    This is every year. It's beyond ridiculous. If a QB doesn't have good passing stats he shouldn't be throwing for 30 td. I cant even draft a sorry QB on purpose. If my playback good he good. If I draft a 95 speed QB he should run regardless of what playbook I have. If I change the playbook to the Ravens so he can run then he won't throw for 3000 yards cause for some reason Ravens playbook haven't been updated. Still shouldn't have to pick the right playbook. If I got a 99 catch wideout why do I have to change playbooks for him to be a top receiver. It's sad

                    To many playbooks WR1 dont get many catches. QB longest run for the year still 11 yards lol I might have seen 12 once. Been like this for YEARSSSSS. It's sad we cant even enjoy a realistic franchise mode. We have to ignore ridiculousness. Still can't even choose 32 teams with a click of a button. Where is the menu page that tells us everything? Box scores, standings, stats, top players of the week ect. Smh

                      I’m 7 games into my franchise. I play every game. I have 64 sacks. I’ve had 3-4 straight games with players who registered 5-6 sacks. I have the top 3 leaders in sacks, and my 4th DL is like 8th in the league. I rarely blitz. It’s crazy.

                        I had 11 sacks last night against the Browns who started Sanders so I would assume a few due to a rookie. 11 is just not fun. I wasn't even usering the DL as I moved to a LB to try and help this but didn't work. Between that and all the TFLs at the line of scrimmage, the overall experience of a pretty good game is being dragged down.

                        Did a quick sim season over the weekend. Was amusing seeing 9 people break the current IRL sack record in a single season lol.

                          Hopefully there is a day 1 patch tommrow since the regular version of the game comes out but man doubt it knowing their history

                            Hoping they patch this soon. It's really the only part of the game that is not running well for me... I play with the Bengals and I am averaging 8 sacks a game, and I am purposely not running any blitzes, it just doesn't matter, At this rate, Hendrickson will break the sack record by week 9 and BJ Hill isn't far from him... If they can get this fixed, I think this is as solid of a game they have ever put out... I know some complain about not being to running between the tackles, I am having no issues with it... I mean yes, I get stuffed at times, but that happens. I am able to break a decent run between the tackles on occasion....
                            If you keep bowing down and praising the developers, (NHL series) nothing they give us the consumer will ever be a "finished" product. Take a stand, it is your money!!!.
