Dynamic weather?

Is the weather actually dynamic this year? Can it start out cloudy and then start raining later on in the game for example? I keep hearing it's dynamic and can change but cannot find the answer. Thanks.

i can't tell if it does because i played it for 30 hours now in franchise mode

Honestly I don’t think so. I think the only it does is just changes in intensity. Even that is something I have not really noticed in the rain games I have had. I have played about 12 franchise games.

I will add this. I played a game the other night in CFB26 and it was a drizzle. When the game started and most of the game you could not see the rain falling. You could the field was wet as the players feet were splashing the water. Then the fourth quarter came and you see the rain falling. That is only thing is seen close to being dynamic in either game

Is the weather at least randomized each time you start a game in Franchise mode? Or is it predetermined? For example, if you're playing as the Bills in Week 12 at home and the weather is just cold, then you quit and restart the game — could it change to snow, or will it always stay the same?

One of the deep dives said it was but the deep dives have been real hit or miss as far as things being like they actually said.

I don’t know if they were/are still working on some of these systems in the deep dive but to be honest it’s not a good look. It feels like they straight up lied about this stuff or mentioned before it was totally figured out.

This is coming from someone who is enjoying the game for the most part more than last year but why would you list all this stuff if it’s not ready to go.

Yes I am enjoying more this year as well. But as you all pointed out above it was stated in the deep dive dynamic weather. To me I got a little apprehensive when I saw it because they never said specifically that you could a game start out just cloudy them start raining or snowing. They play on word play to think we were getting a feature we have been wanting for decades.

I tend to think its dynamic not predetermined. For example someone else reported their first game at Chicago had rain in their franchise. I played the same game and it was dry. I saved and resumed and still dry.
