I have a fix for Robo QB

It requires a little work, but I put alotta work into my franchise so it doesn't bother me. I have the most beautiful games possible every year with Madden.

I control all 32 teams and go in and edit every player and position if need be. Every year the developers have things such as speed, awareness, etc., not right for players.

I've been tuning the sliders or abilities available for every game since 1993!

To fix robo qb you have to edit THP! Thats tge ability majority responsible for super qbs who never miss. They throw the ball so hard and fast that DBs dont have a chance to break passes up.

Drop THP to between 50-65. I also subtract 20 from the qb throw on the run. On top of that in the sliders i have QB at 41 and catching at 35.

The result are errant throws, under and over throws and a completion percentage between 50 and 70 percent!

Me personally I also reduced the QB speed for everyone by around 20, except Lamar Jackson. There were too many QBs rushing for over 100 yards every game!

Interesting thought. Wouldn't dropping THP that much lead to QBs not being able to throw deep passes at all though?

They still throw deep with THP between 50-67. That's just how overpowered the rating is.

Do you have a roster posted with these roster edits?

Madden 17 THP was the last real one we got as it was tied to how fast the ball came out the QB hand. QB strength was tied to the distance. This really bugged me when they went away from it in Madden 18. Since then THP is basically like animation how fast a frame rate you’ll get. There was a guy on YouTube years ago who did this test were 99 THP was 60 frames per second. 18,19 & 20 were some of my worst madden experiences. And 26 looks like it’s a repeat of those speed means everything and pursuit is king on defense they went away with that in next gen 21 and kinda regressed since then and now I feel there back to 18’19’20 arcade gameplay.

How do the sim stats look in Franchise Mode with these edits?

If you drop throw power that low, it'll tank QB ratings. I guess you could do it before games and switch back after?

Doesn’t this drop their ratings a lot? Also I think a lot of the robo qb stuff is from the traits some of these qbs have

That's a lot of editing to fix a problem that sliders can resolve.

                  Qba 45
                  WR Catch 25

You'll start to see a difference in completion percentages.

                  Catch radius is the key

O did the edits you note first, but I didn't see a difference.

I may have to research the catch radius tho.

Yeah it makes their ratings look ugly, but I can deal with that long as the gameplay and stats are good.

But EA has probably tuned it in this update so it may not be necessary.
