I can't get a balance of difficulty from pro to all pro

First off took me ages to work out how to make a new post with this new forum look its been a while!

if I play on Pro I am unstoppable will complete 95% of passes cant be stopped

I play on all pro I have no time to throw the ball I become a interception machine

same thing on defence. CPU is useless on Pro no challenge on all pro. they are a machine

so what should I be on here to start to get a slider balance that is realistic results here? start on all pro dramatically change things? or go pro and decrease a lot of things

My opinion would be start on All-Pro and adjust sliders from there...

I default to putting interceptions at 20 or 25 for User and CPU right off the bat

I was playing straight default all-pro last night.

I run into a similar issue where pro is way too easy. I’m not getting killed on all-pro though.

First game was Bears vs Vikings and I killed the Viks. It was like 26-0 at halftime.

Then played Packers vs Commanders. As the Pack I lost 21-7.

Only threw 1 pick in the 2 games. IMO the biggest thing to cut down interceptions without lowering sliders is to take sacks instead of just trying to throw to covered receivers or just throw it away. I throw the majority of picks by trying to avoid sacks,

Biggest thing I’ve noticed. QB ratings matter more than ever this year. Good QB’s are tough. Young and Poor QB’s take sacks and make more poor throws especially under pressure.

I’m not sure if you are playing as one team or multiple but start a multiple team dynasty with a variety of teams and see how it goes.

Same problem here but honestly, I really don't have a solution. Once you start messing with sliders, you go down this rabbit hole that you'll never exit... you're searching for that unicorn that just doesn't exist.

10-15 years ago, I was so excited when EA came out with the whole simulation/competitive/arcade thing because on sim, players "played to their ratings" but unfortunately, that turned out to be the biggest nonsense ever published but I digress...

I have always run into this issue on all sports games of getting stuck between difficulties. I also agree that slideritis is a real thing. That's why I was trying to just default All-Pro and not worrying about certain things not matching up.

I do think that especially Qb's play closer to their real life selves this year and ratings matter more than in the past. And if you don't have a good O-line and your QB is not mobile forget it. Also Qb's are constantly under duress in the NFL. Watching some of these games over the weekend it's crazy how little time they have in the pocket. I think that the game represents that pretty well actually.

Like I mentioned playing in my All-32 young and poor QB's really struggle even when controlled by the CPU.

I always operate under the philosophy that I'd rather have the game be a little too hard than a little too easy. The game tends to get easier over time anyway, and this effect is multiplied for console users.
