Did I notice the changes to the Oline/Dline interactions immediately? Hell yes. No more having 6-7 seconds in the pocket if your opponent had a legitimate DLine.

I was also able to see the improved play in the secondary. It didn't jump out at you. It is subtle to be honest but it is there. I also found that some "money routes" still worked, but in my brief time with the game I came away happier than I was a few days ago.

Not much of an impression from me, but I only played a half on All-Pro default speed.
Anxious to hear more from you. You seem to be one of the move objective ones. Just curious what your recommendation would be to someone that would need to purchase a new console (PS4) and would have to pay the $60 for the game. You think it's worth it, or would you advise wait for M15 and or other reasons (games) to get the PS4? I have NBA2K14 on PC so I don't need that on a console. Just curious what you would recommend after you've had more time checking out the new gen madden.

Jarebear I totally agree with the way you feel. I'm pretty excited about the game.

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)

My impression of Madden 25 PS4 goes as follows....

This game f'ing rocks and may be the best Madden I have ever played. I have been playing Madden since the early 90s and was worried this game would go down as one of the worst Maddens of all time, boy was I wrong.

The game is pretty, the visuals are crisp and you can definitely tell the improvements. Game play has some subtle improvements, that as a whole make the game play sooo much better. Sounds and presentation are stale, but I think by Madden 16' we may have as close to a perfect game as we can get.

One thing that kind of aggravates me is that we can't get halfway decent field and jersey degradation. I mean come on man, they did this better in like Madden 2001.

Overall I give the game a B+. Is it NBA 2K14, nope, is it a serviceable next gen football game, yessir.

If I could say this from a graphics stand point, those 49ers helmets look awesome. They also got the color of the patriots facemask color right (bright red). A lot of the uniforms look right but I haven't seen them all.
Someone mentioned this earlier and I can't remember who but you need to play a 6:30 game in an outdoor stadium. The lighting transitions are something to behold.

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)

                Sliders are responsive

I was getting beat by a Seneca Wallace led Packers as the Broncos. I took All-Madden, brought some user offensive sliders down to make it harder, brought some CPU offense and defense up (mostly just 5 point bumps up, except INT I raised to 65) and they picked me off 5x in 3 quarters. Lowered user pass block to 15 and the rush was INTENSE.

This may be the one that finally lasts a whole year in my system...

                EDIT

For play now games, you need to do the same trick as current gen. Load your silder file for user and CPU, then go back and change it all-madden, they should stick instead of being custom it will say all-madden and have your slider tweaks

                Spoiler
My first ever screenshot lol! Man next gen is going to be freaking awesome. Hopefully we get a picture thread up soon that isn't trolled

Actually it is, I'm playing it on my ps4.

Game plays great thus far, love the unpredictable pressure from the defense. Having the dt in my lap adds so much strategy.

Share feature for screenshots works pretty good.

Enjoying reading these impressions, trust me they're just getting started. I'm happy most are really enjoying this. I'm not satisfied yet and I still think Madden 15 is going to be an even bigger jump, much bigger actually.

Keep the impressions coming, good and bad and lets all do our part to help make sure we get to have many more years of great football gaming!

I finally got to download the title update and the frame rate seems a little better afterward. But it's still definitely not locked in at 60 FPS like Battlefield and NBA 2K are.

Madden feels like it's probably closer to 40 FPS most of the time, plus it still stutters a lot.

All i've been asking for for the past couple if years is improved line and secondary play...FINALLY defensive players are beating offensive lineman as varying rates....defense has been very fun to play...

Secondary play could still use some
Improvements but it's still an improvement over CG....I've been playing 2k all day not expecting much from this and I'll be damned...it's a good game if football..

The enhancements I would characterize to be minimalistic but nevertheless improved. The colors are vivid and appear to be very smooth, the polish on this game is aesthetically pleasing, in my opinion. Compared to 2k, graphically this is an inferior product. however, the gameplay is well rounded and tight. Next year it will look a lot better.

Blitzes can be countered by slide protection (if you see where it is coming pre=snap), hot routing TE and/or RB in to block and/or having a 'hot read' receiver on a quick route. Read the defense pre snap, make the right adjustments, get the ball out faster and you should be able to beat the blitz.
