Hey guys, I too am an older gamer and enjoy the management aspect of the game. I like to see the game play out without my intervention. I long for CPU/CPU game play to return but have come to the realization it might not. I have adopted coach mode and sim punts and kicks to get my fix. In broadcast mode, this game is a thing of beauty. At least in coach mode I have control over playing calling and personel on the field. I think if you guys try it, you might find peace with what I consider the best madden to date.

So i realized what Pats2015 said , and it happened, Tolzien for the Pack and Pryor for the Seahawks both moved up to number 2 QBs somehow, even though i had them at 3. So i had to go out of connected franchise and edit them to 25's for all their passing abilities, and this made them third string permanently .....however, i loaded that roster set into a new franchise, and went to the packers vs Seahawks first regular season game......the game loads up, and again...went to super sim...... so I went back and re-read pats2015 bit on how to do it at the beginning of this thread....my last chance!!!! I did not have both controllers going...so trying that now...otherwise...it appears no cpu vs cpu at all.... anyone else having luck??

Yeah u have to have both controllers. It works and u don't have to kick fgs.

The two controller thing WORKED!!!!! CPU VS CPU in Connected offline franchise !!! YAY!!!!!!! but, you cannot have Broadcast camera it seems, just the behind the line classic view occurs. But hey ! Madden 15 has CPU vs CPU in offline franchise so I'm happy !!!! time to fiddle with it this Labor day and fantasy draft weekend ! LOL!!! YAY!!!!

You can broadcast too. Just change it on the main menu then during the game change both camera views to broadcast

main menu? during the game? I set it to broadcast in franchise menu settings, but when the game starts and i pause....i go into visual settings and there is no camera selection...exact location you are talking about please?

I had to set mine in my settings (outside of CFM) to broadcast I believe to get it to work.

This workaround is still not ideal, though. The point of cpu vs cpu in franchise is so I can watch the team I've built play. Going this route, I would have no control over my team and I'd have to rely on the cpu team management AI...

Well this is proof that they could put this back in anytime they want. And once again no real in game music since madden 12 as well.

I had to set mine in my settings (outside of CFM) to broadcast I believe to get it to work.

My settings outside were setup for broadcast, but it did not work in season mode with 32 team control and two controllers.....I know it's off topic, but I need a step by step for this, as I have not seen it work yet.

As for the workaround not being full control, no, but it's something, set your rosters outside of season mode before your season exactly how you want them and import them. Yes, you can't adjust during the season, but it's better than nothing till EA sees this board and gives us back our total team control !!!! I have no need to buy Madden next year at all now if not....I will just update rosters for this game and say SEE YA to EA if it is not back in for 16 !!! I would have just kept Madden 25 and not bought 15 if I knew about the workaround last season.

...and I wish there was a way to TURN OFF REPLAYS!!!!!! Yes, they are shorter this year, but still annoying on almost every play. Amazing they do not have a simple OFF switch like all other games for this. It would speed up cpu vs cpu sims so much!!!! Incredible !!! SMH!!!
