Man Madden can't do anything right for some people. It is ridiculous at this point.

I hear you, but you can turn that stuff on and off.

I didn't notice any wr/db interaction? If they don't add it this year Madden 15 is an epic fail imo and we may never get it in the game. The focus is defense this year and Richard Sherman, a physical DB is on the cover! what better time to get physical pass defense in this game. Another negative, as expected it seems alot of the same old animations of years past is in the game especially on the offensive side of the ball.
On the positive side I liked that canned cut scenes are gone and team celebrations appear to be in the game. Defensive line play and player movement seem to be a bit better. Cant wait to see live gameplay footage.

Well that's good to hear then. Having it be an option is best for the game instead of forcing it on us. Then again at this point, I have a hard time trusting anything Sim says.

I don't even think the graphics look that good, for next gen anyways.

Maybe it's because the animation look bad, but still not impressed with the graphics.

So, to me, that was a pretty shallow back of the box gimmick reveal. I'm having Pro-Tak™ flashbacks.

My fantasy press conference would have been something like
                You're in Control

Madden has unleashed the power of the new generation of consoles to make your football gaming experience more fun, flexible and replayable than ever.

Want to play short, exciting games of football with friends for laughs and bragging rights? Want to play 15 minutes quarters in an online league with friends to simulate a perfect weekly NFL game experience? Madden 15 has you covered.

EA Tiburon has created advanced in game AI and game management logic like never before, allowing each player on the field to move with real physics unique to each play, rendered in visually stunning, unprecedented detail.

We've even added new defensive player controls and camera angles to give players more control than ever over half the game of football: the defense, which like this year's cover player corner back Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks, wins championships.

With all this new control and game playing AI, each game will play differently, each coach will coach differently, and most of all, you control what kind of game experience you and your friends are after, from smashmouth NFL highlight games to true football simulation.

                See you on the gridiron!

But we didn't get that. Not that I expected it.

I respect both sides of the discussion but yeah some are simply lifelong haters as well as lifelong lovers. All I care about is what makes me happy. Hopefully the game keeps improving.

Want to see some live gameplay of course but if it's fun that's what I want.

                        Question answered...

RD: The defensive camera is exclusive to the defensive side of the ball. This camera gives you an over the shoulder perspective looking towards the offense. You can player lock in this view or choose to use the base defensive camera, which allows you to switch players. The defensive camera will always keep your player and the ball in view, so you will get unique camera perspectives depending on the defensive position you are playing in. Overall the defensive camera and player lock on defense have the ability to completely change the way you play defense.

They never mention franchise improvements (except introducing cfm one year). Though looking at the fact sheet I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't fix the CPU ai. Unfortunately we won't get these answers until much later down the road.

I love Madden, but seriously it is like EA isn't even trying anymore. Everything is a gimmick. They don't fix the actual issues, and they completely throw away anything they said they were going to try and fix.

Look at that screenshot. Look at the camera men on the sideline. Didn't EA promise last year they were going to create interactive sidelines? This looks terrible.

I was just looking on their website, and I didn't even see anything for blogs or upcoming videos explaining what else they did to the game. I'm guessing if nothing comes out on CFM and everything else then you could be right and it went untouched.

Yeah, this is my biggest concern right now.

I thought the stuff we saw in those highlight clips looked fine. I am more or less indifferent/borderline pleased with the little tidbits teased so far. The make or break for me is if they CPU logic has been overhauled or if that didn't make it in this year.

For me I have a positive outlook right now, I liked what the guy said and I liked, more or less, what I saw in the highlights. Really wanna see the AI in action though.
