Thats great news. I'm buying a PS4 the day it comes out, and as the parent of two small girls, it would be great to be able to save and come back to a game when the kids need me (wake up from a nap early, ect) rather than give up on a game. When my first daughter was a baby, I remember playing some games in a season 3 or 4 times before I could finish.

so glad this question was asked because I assumed it was not added.
I had to adjust my quarter length because of this...hated playing a game and then having to go somewhere for a bit and having to lose my progress.

Now I can get back to 7 minute quarters and finish the next day if I want.

Does not happen for me on PS3 - no in game save from what I have seen. I "Quit" and that's it - game is lost.

Let us hope that EA fixes the issues with in-game saves. I look forward to Madden 15. As someone who did not play Madden for 7 years, I am glad that we have honest, kind, and responsible people working to make Madden Football a better game that actually shows what *Is in the game* on Sundays.

My Franchise does not save mid game for ps4. I wish to heck it would. It did when I first got it but it stopped.

No, it's definitely implemented by EA. It never says the word "save," but if you quit in the middle of the game, you see this option the next time you boot up, even if you completely power down the system. This is PS4.

madden 15 on the x1 does this as well

my xbox froze last night and booted me to dashboard. I was pissed cussing u name it.. I was in a good challenging game.. well booted it back up and started me right back in the game same spot it froze in I couldn't believe it.. after it froze.

Can you explain what you did to trigger it? Did you close the application a certain way? did you just turn off your ps4 with the game running? Maybe I'm missing something, this feature would be really useful to say the least.

While in the middle of a game, I just pause it and shut down my PS4. It doesn't explicitly have a "save and quit" option or anything. You just shut it down and it's there on the Madden main menu for you to resume when you turn it back on.

Did this by accident but I was playin CC mode and paused the game because I had to go do something else. Came back and realized I wasn't going to be able to finish the game thinking to myself 'I wish madden had in-game saves like 2k14' because my time is limited and I dont like simming. Anyway held the ps button and powered down (not standby although I haven't tried that yet). Came back later turned on madden and everything and right there on the top left box it asked to continue my game in my career mode and it loaded right back to where i turned it off.

I'll have to try the quit method and see if it works, if it doesnt I will just use the shutdown method lol or even just pausing and shutting down the app might work. It probably all depends on when that autosave happens maybe. who knows

Was playing a game of Madden 15 this morning on the PS4 and the power went out at my house. When it came back on, I booted up my PS4 and picked up right where I left off before the outage. Very impressive feature added by EA Sports into this year's game.

HOWEVER, do interception stats from your played game DISAPPEAR when you perform an in-game save ?

they did last year and that needs to be fixed.

Do we not:

Pause while in-game

hit circular PS button and select "Turn off PS-4"

and game can now be resumed later.
