Re: Early Access to Madden NFL 15 is Working For EA Access Subscribers
1.) I'm not spending money to open up a 2nd X-Box Live account
2.) $5 for 6 hours is an awful money to time ratio. I can rent the game for longer and cheaper than that.
3.) I refuse to reward EA by financially supporting such an awful precedent that they are setting with this. I only signed up for EA Access because I didn't realize it was only 6 hours of gametime that I'd get. It was advertised as 5 days early access. Not a 6 hour trial. To support this is to set a horrible precedent in the gaming industry "Pay for time".
EA is a freaking joke for this. I didn't have much, if any respect for them as it was, and this certainly didn't help them in my eyes.Comment

6 hours is garbage, that will be finished by tomorrow if not tonight.
the game is dope though, it look a lot better than it did last year. I didn't really play madden 25 as much, I guess because I just got bored with it. This year, I can say the game is fun to play.
the first things that jumped out that I like so far;
I can finally break through the O-Line to attempt to sack the QB
pressing the up or down to change camera angle is perfect
the presentation and transitions are goodComment

Re: Early Access to Madden NFL 15 is Working For EA Access Subscribers
I set the stop watch on my phone for when I started it up and then paused it for when I got off. This should help out. Don't think I'll be able to put in all 6, honestly, as I've got a busy weekend. But I'm very impressed so far.
The uniforms are getting to me though. The wrinkles are a tad much, honestly. And as I posted in the Uniform Error thread, they got the color of the numbers on the Saints black jerseys COMPLETELY wrong. It's such an eye-sore that I can hardly concentrate. Other than that, I'm loving it.
I only really did quick play and right now it looks like every QB has same stance/throwing motion. That's frustrating. Player lock is fun, but I think it could get overpowered and abused on the D-Line. Zone coverage is freaking great, as the CPU will generate lots of int's and pbu's until you get the hang of it.
The three times I went to stiff arm in the open field I fumbled. Thought that was odd. Screen passes get locked down for the most part. Running the ball isn't really easy but breaking it to the outside will still be abused and hard to stop.
One last note before I hit the hay: Brandin Cooks is so freakin fun to play with!!!! Really shows how speed can play a factor this year.Comment

Re: Early Access to Madden NFL 15 is Working For EA Access Subscribers
Here is a step by step way to buy more time. It takes about 15-20 minutes to do but it works.
1) Click on the sign in section of the homepage
2) Go to "Add New" and enter all of the information (new username, email etc.) to register
3) Go to the MS Store and select EA Access Hub
4) Enter the Hub and fill out the information (You may need to register a new Origin account and enter your credit card info (which takes awhile).
5) Purchase EA Access.
6) Shut down your console and restart it.
7) Sign in w/ the new user account and go to the EA Access and select Madden 15.
8) The game will temporarily act as if it is going to install but then immediately switch to "Play Trial"
The game should start under the new username and you should have 6 more hours.Comment

Thanks ... but the live account doesn't need to be gold?Comment

Ravens at. Browns(me)
Came back from at 17-0 deficit in the second half just for my trial to end at the snap of the game winning field goal. I swear I thought it was going into a new cutscene or something. I'm tempted to believe EA did this on purpose to get another $5 from me... It work!
