Simply untrue. A lot of people have school or work in the morning and wouldn't stay up that much past midnight to play anyway. Pre-loading the game allows people to get on and play when they're ready. Plus, some people have really slow internet and downloading Madden 15 can take some people up to 15+ hours. Pre-loading has it's purpose even if the game releases at 3am EST.

I'm just saying if I was going to go to bed and play when I got up, pre downloading wouldn't matter because I'd download the game at midnight while I slept, and play when I woke. To me, the whole point of pre downloading is so I can immediately play my game at midnight.

it's goofy to me that it wouldn't be released at midnight, once midnight hit what ever time your time zone.

if you have time on ea access, is that still an option, or have they cut that off?

can anyone confirm the ps4 digital copy is 12 eastern? I'm about to preorder but want to confirm. Save me a trip to the store.

I mentioned this in another thread a couple days ago. makes no sense. the 3 hour difference was actually the reason I decided to go with the ps4 version.

It says it right on the PS4 screen when you pre-order it, it unlocks at midnight.

This has been posted on the pre-order screen since last week. Everything on Xbox one is always released midnight PST. No reason to think this would have been different.

In my case I still have 3 + hours on my trial so I can get a few games in tonight and then wake up tomorrow with the full version and a full nights sleep for work.

Is it assumed that if you purchased this digital that the ea access will just roll into the full retail version?

When i go to manage my digital version, the only option i have is to uninstall, but this is imediately after booting my xbox since purchasing.

I selected the game and it booted the ea access version.?

Just go the store on the console or download the Xbox One Smart glass app, go to the store within the app and get it there.

If you have the console set to instant on, it should download immediately.

Go to the Microsoft store on your console, games /search Madden 15, You should see it there.
