More of an addition by subtraction, but get rid of certain minimum player requirements. Not every team uses a FB, while teams are pushing more toward three WR sets as the norm. Depth chart requirements should be matched to the scheme you're using, not one universal, albeit antiquated, system.

Also, bring back formation subs and allow us to set our kickoff and return teams. I've always wanted a special skill set for career special teamers. For instance, this past season the Bills made it their mission to bring in or retain better special team players for their coverage teams, Anthony Dixon, Marcus Easley, Ron Brooks etc. They might not have a high rating at their regular position, but their value is derived more from their ST prowess and it's important overall.

To add to your list..

Actual coordinators. Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams would appease me. I know having positional coaches is a bit too much to ask for, but give me OC, DC and STC and I'd be happy.

Yes you should be able to start your coaching career as an OC or DC and have to work for a promotion.

There is a lack of rating for your opponent. Dumb that I have to play a game where 75% of all people use no huddle for the full game, never punt, and onsides kick all the time. I either beat them 40-7 or they edge me out because of extra possesions. Kids have literally no on ball skills and would not play like this against me in real life. It makes me sick.

What kind of person wants to win that way anyways?

To some extent - with respect to position requirements - this has already happened. For example, you're no longer required to carry a fullback in CFM (possibly only online CFM, the only version I play). I haven't carried a fullback on my online CFM team since the conclusion of the preseason.

I think that Madden needs to update the uniforms and all the equipment and player gear. I'm not saying take out whats already in the game but add all the other styles of helmets and face masks, and also add all the new player gear as well.

1) In franchise games I would like to be updated with scores of the NFL games that happening around the league. It adds a level of immersion that is sorely missing in the current presentation broadcast.

2) I would like to see crowd noise affect the road teams ability to audible and communicate.

3) WR/DB Jostling Animations

4) WR fight for the football animations

5) Penalties

6) Inuries to offensive lineman/defensive lineman

7) More errant incomplete passes that hit the ground

I'm a equipment guy so I want to see a total overhaul of the equipment in the game.

I play as the chiefs and I want to be able to wear the socks as arm sleeves like berry, Smith, mays, Cooper and parker all do.

To build on this, I want the ability to call audibles that STAY ON from play to play. The standard online offense is to just No Huddle and run plays that exploit the default coverages. Madden includes all these great audibles that could neutralize them, but all a guy has to do is snap as fast as possible and you can't use any of them.

NCAA had this half a decade ago.

Maddens really capable w/ lots of these request, they need to start making use of 40+ gb space like NBA 2k & MLB the Show.

Special teams depth charts.

I want to use Calvin Pryor and Antonio Allen on my kickoff team.
