The draft classes are the best they've been in years. Best of the next gen or PS3/360 days.

Yeah, there are too many with dreads. Yeah, the equipment needs to be edited. But the RATINGS are excellent.

You have a black kicker with dreads...whoopie. Get over it or cut him and sign another. I guarantee most of the kickers are white in each draft. 1 black guy with dreads out of dozens doesn't mean the "draft classes are terrible..."

I see you guys are jumping the bandwagon on one guys comment. first of all this kicker isn't the only issue. yeah it can be a black kicker with dreadlocks but you guys are missing the point. the point is, 90 percent of the time you dradt a black player in this game he has dreadlocks. you are talking about prejudice? Why the hell does all black people in the game have dreadlocks then? if not all most of them you draft. what is wrong with the pads on the players you draft, why is there never a running back over 90 speed in the draft? stop making excuses for this game because I can go on and on. it's so many problems it just gets exhausting because the little things that they fail to fix pisses me off. at the end of the day the kicker was the top kicker in the draft. 80 power and 82 accuracy. he could have been 99 everything and I would have still cut his dumb looking ***. I don't care if you show me pictures of black kickers the point of the matter is none of them have dreads. I heard some guy say move him to wide receiver, then he will be one slow as wide receiver. anyway if somebody who is truly frustrated with this game and they read this, they will understand. You fan boys don't need to comment . you guys think this game is so perfect

how dare you dudes condemn me for saying that. all of you, & I mean all of you know these players look like s*** when you draft them. years down the line when your connected franchise only has draftes players in it, all those nicely chiseled players EA had in the game are officially gone. it will be the Legion of dreadlocks and shoulder pads. I pay 60 for a beta and you guys complain to me about how I shouldn't complain. I swear to God... you guys frustrate me just as much as this game considering you don't think nothing is wrong. if I had a chance to get my whole $63 back I would. I love football but I can no longer play connected franchise. I think I'll rather just stick to the individual player thing for now

It wasn't about the dreadlocks in your OP. It was, Since when are kickers black, have dreadlocks, and wear these pads lol. Not Gees there's so many dreadlocks, even on this Kicker!

But instead you said you wasted a pick on him basically because he was black, had dreads, and wore different pads.

Not only did you draft a kicker you don't like the look of, you didn't scout him well enough and he's a bust.

A black kicker/punter may have dreads eventually. If King wanted to grown them he could, then your argument is invalid.

Its a video game dude.

I agree that its lame many players are sporting dreads in the draft classes. But what did you expect people would say when you included skin color? Thread may (emphasis on may) have turned out different if you had not brought up skin tone.

I'm not even going to touch the issue of you being upset your kicker is black, and with dreads... however... I will say this...

I drafted 3 WR's for my Dolphins in my first offseason. All three looked like twins. Dark skin, dreads. Now, I don't care, it's nothing to do with the race. Maybe its just a strange co-incidence that I drafted 3 apparent twins with different names, but If the complaint here is strictly about the classes generating alot of similarities in appearance, I guess I can see that. I'm hoping it was just a co-incidence that the 3 I drafted all looked alike appearance wise on field, but I'd like to see it be more random than that.

This topic is going in a dangerous direction, but I do get what the OP is saying. I dont have the game, but this past weekend I spent a good amount of time playing it (cousins game) and too many players come out like this. If this were just one punter, that would be one thing....but this is more than just about one punter. This has to do with EA's game not being polished...as always.

On top of that, I dont think the people who make draft classes even know what typical NFL players look like. Beyond just hair and skin color.....like I dont think they know the builds of certain players at certain positions, and they certainly dont seem familiar with the skillsets that are important for certain positions.

Im not getting too deep into it. But this is one reason I will never buy Madden brand new again. Madden 15 came out, and I just bought Madden 25 for $15. Not going to hurt them much, but I just cant justify paying full price for a half finished game every year.

And yes....little things like this add up, and are the reason why.

The real problem is that they don't allow you to edit players to your liking, whether that be physical characteristics or abilities on the field.

I was wondering if someone would catch that. I did it on purpose. I swear.

I couldn't care less really what the players I draft look like on the field, as long as they look like football players. I really was excited to see when I threw my first pass to one of my new WR's that he had dreads. I like to have variety on the field, plus he's a 6'7" monster that was a very welcome addition to my team of smallish WR's, so the dreads make him stand out to me, making him an easily visible target.

Then I throw a quick slant to the opposite side, my other new WR, and he looks identical, then I notice my slot WR, is identical too.

As I said, really hope it's a weird co-incidence, I have no idea thought as it was my first draft class, but the OP's picture of that player, is identical to all of my 3 WR's, just different height/weight.

It doesn't really bother me either way. Unless of course everyone you draft is alike in appearance, then it's an issue.

The thing is..... You didn't say any of this in your first post. It was pretty much, "I drafted a black kicker with dreads and I'm mad." So calm down.
