I personally really like the new passing controls, wr db interaction, especially like holding L2 and pressing x for possession catches on comebacks/curls, feels like we have a little control over the pass for once. The ol/dl interaction simply isnt where it needs to be, last year heavily favored towards the dl, this year they nerfed it a bit. What we need is a happy medium at least for sack totals, and better control over the hand fighting, rush moves.

Can you turn off the new passing controls and just use the "classic" ones?

Can you still use the voice commands via the Kinect that was implemented into the game a few years ago or is that feature gone ?

Can anyone verify if assisted tackles actually work playing in somewhat realistic quarters?

I'm hoping to see something like 4 or 5 solo w/ 7 assisted to total around 12 tackles or so.

I've been waiting for years for this.

I read that assisted tackles work! Finally I'll have players in total tackles in the top 10 there some videos out there that show end of season stats and plenty of assisted tackles.

I am seeing a lot of issues with frame rate in the impressions thread, my question is if this is a Xbox one problem or are Ps4 users experiencing the same frame rate issues.

The supersim feature still doesn't work well. I played offense only a few games and supersimmed the defense and in each game the time of possession was heavily in my favor, other stats for the CPU were messed up as well.

Every QB and RB had horrible stats. Like one game Joe Flacco was 7-15, 105 yards, 1 TD, 4 picks. Forsett had 5 carries for 12 yards. (I was using the Browns 8 minute quarters) Another game Big Ben was 8-17, 112 yards, 1 TD; L. Bell had 9 carries for 31 yards.

I played a total of 4 games where I used supersim on Defense and every game the stats were bad.

Someone else pretty much answered this, but would someone please give a firm confirmation that you can't use coaches like Lombardi, Ditka, Landry, Gibbs, Madden, etc. this year??! Not sure if you need to earn cards or something for this or if it has been completely eliminated. What about their playbooks, even?

Played 6 min qtrs as Dallas last night, Rolando Mcclain had 6 solos 8 assists for 14 total. Also did a brief test to see if assists were being tracked correctly, opening kickoff in a game with Green Bay Clinton-Dix and I think it was Carl Bradford converged on the returner and both brought him down. Checked stats right after, each was credited with an assist, and then I just smiled for awhile.

Ok. I just saw something that made me want to cuss out EA so bad! The wishbone "C" the midfield logo for the Bears, in real life, and the past three years in Madden it's a BLUE outline of the C. This year....back to Black! WTF EA??!!!

Can people verify that the player ratings get huge boosts in games for when players do well? Like huge boosts in an unrealistic way?

Also do these boosts in ratings carry over to the next games or just that one game?

Awesome! LOL yeah, I can't wait to play so I can get that smile on my face as well. You guys don't know how long i've been waiting for this to happen. I would still play the game, but it wasn't the same. Tackles are big in football and when you have guys like Luke Kuechly, Deandre Levy getting like 60-80 tackles per season in the game, it kind of takes out the realism.

Madden 16 Q/A thread

I don't have the game yet, but specifically remember in the EA Twitch marathon Rex saying that Philly does not run the no huddle.

I find this incredibly disappointing. Do teams all play the same? Do they at least slant toward run heavy/pass heavy?
