What is the ideal quarter length and other time options for realistic stats? For example in NBA 2k you can keep it at the real life 12 minute mark, but in past Madden's you'd probably put it at 7 or 8 minutes.

Madden has an accelerated clock feature (which only activates in-between plays) and a control for automatic play clock runoff, which makes it very possible to play full 15 minute quarters with realistic play #'s. That said...the runoff tends to make the AI snap the ball almost immediately if it's set too low, so 13 or 14 minute quarters is about the highest I'd go, personally.Last edited by bcruise; 08-24-2015, 03:20 PM.Comment

Does anyone know if when doing a single player career in CFM (as opposed to a coach or owner), will your team's sim defense still give up a touchdown on nearly every possession like they have done for the past 3 or 4 years? Even teams like Seattle will give up a touchdown every possession if you play as a QB or WR and it gets annoying, especially since you essentially HAVE to sim.
The less cynical side of me would say they do it to keep the games close and interesting, but the more cynical and realistic side of me says it's just because of poor development.

What are the superbowl stadiums looking like? Is it updated to Houston and Minneapolis. Or it the same for the past 4 years where its San fran then Dallas, Miami, etc.. This is a make or break thing to me, as I play cfm a lot.. Kinda kills immersion when I know the city its supposed to be yet its in anotherComment

I'm guessing it was either short or from 50+? That's the only time I've seen them miss before. I'm fine with CPU robo-kicker though. Until they find a better way to do user FG kicking it's the only fair way.Comment

I'm more concerned about the human kicking being too easy. You can basically hand the controller to a toddler in previous versions and they'll still make all the kicks. That's not football, I like to have to earn the points to some degree.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment
