I remember a dev in an interview saying that 80-90% of the league has been scanned, there is no way that's true

Why so many generics? They said they had scanned about 85-90% of the league.

I might guess that while a vast quantity were scanned there is still some in-between process to get them into the game—could be that each head requires an element of handcrafting or some smaller quality control work for authentic heads to meet a certain standard?

I suppose there isn't some automated toolkit to just dump the scans into and get a perfect likeness out?
