    Scouting points and true value

Can anyone that has the game already verify the few screen shots I've seen?

From what I understand you have 150 points per week, and it costs 3 pts to unlock 1st (best) trait, 7 pts. for 2nd best, and only 11 for true value?

I'm going to be super bummed if this is still the case because that would make it way too easy to unlock true value for at least half the draft class. Completely ruins the draft for me.

I saw someone mention that they watched a stream where a guy scouted and those numbers were the same. 10 is for the 3rd attribute which also unlocks the true value. So it's like 20 points per player to unlock everything. But the person said the guy scouting had 250 points so maybe he had a scouting package or something. Really wish they would have separated the third attribute and true value.

I just found another screen shot showing the watchlist, and the values were 5, 10, and 15, so it looks like they adjusted them a little at least. That still seems too easy to me.

You'll be able to get the true value of about 60 player as it stands right now which is basically two full rounds

If it's 60 players then thats about 8/9 players a round which isn't too bad. Still a few too many for my liking

Most NFL teams have a draft board made up of about 100 players. So a few extra scouting points would be nice.

Does the user get to pick the attributes or are we pigeoned holed into the same ones every time?

You just get his best three relevant to the position. Depends on what they are for what you get.

That's unfortunate, we won't be able to scout what we desire most.

I'm interested to get into this. Hope it's not too easy, but I welcome the change in scouting from the last couple of years' versions. I still wish they would just use the Head Coach 09 way of free agency/scouting.

NFL Teams aren't gifted with the "True Value" of a player...they have to determine that on their own according to specifically scouted positional attributes and their relation to scheme/needs.

That's WAY too many true values. At most you should be able to get 4 or 5. You can fully scout multiple positions. This ruins busts and sleepers.

Exactly. You can unlock so many true values that every draft you do you can have 4-5 first rounders value-wise. It's B.S. I want realism and a challenge.

I hate that I'm going to have set yet another house rule for myself so I'm not destroying CFM with my team full of superstars.

One thing I might do in my CFM is limit the number of true draft values I unlock in scouting. I'm thinking maybe I pick 1 per position.

                            We'll see

They also don't scout for letter grades or attribute ratings, they have to come up with an educated guess based on the data they have on a guy and the gametape they have seen.
