In Madden or another game? Because in FIFA 15 you had to restart when they fixed the Youth Academy name bug.

Last time having to restart on madden was madden 09...there was a nasty freeze in the franchise mode related to the drafts not generating enough of certain positions. If you ran into this freeze it required a restart because players couldn't be patched in.

Usually,the bugs are such that you can just continue on. That's what I'm betting on with this one because the main bug seems to be an in-game Sceniro.

Hopefully you will just deal with the one already pre loaded draft class? Then after that it is smooth sailing..... I wish they would confirm we are safe to start a franchise right now

I read that they fixed the WR speed regression issue with an update last year, but I can't confirm it because I never restarted a CFM after the first week or two.

I'm definitely going to wait until this patch to start my CFM. I'm hoping that drive goals, regression of certain positions, draft class ratings inflation, and poor safety play during double coverage will be addressed.

I'm not hopeful but it would be nice if this patch could be out by that week after the first NFL regular season Sunday.

Well this is good to hear, that it wont take 6 weeks for these issues .However i notice nothing in that was said about the rookies issue. Wonder how long before that gets fixed?

The speed and deep accuracy issue... that guys in generated classes come with a high speed and deep accuracy compared to the default roster.

How on earth would anyone know that for 100% certain before EA actually fixes it? They probably don't know the answer to that themselves yet.
