Question about Game Prep Hours

I'm at week 4 of pre-season and received 60 hours every week. I thought it might be related to schedule but that's not the case: My opponent this week has more hours and played same day as my team last week. I don't see it tied into wins and have no idea what determines game prep hours for your team. Is it just a random thing or based on...?

Is it a user opponent?

It may be a Head Coach attribute?

I've ALWAYS gotten 60 hours a week though.

Last year if you played Thursday then again the next Sunday you had more game prep hours that week. Vice Versa if you played Sunday then played again Thursday you had less game prep hours.............not sure if its the same, I have not started my Career yet.

It's about coaches. I know when I upgraded a coach I went from 60 to 70 every week. The upgrades didn't seem to be related, so maybe it's just coach level. So if you buy upgrades and his level goes up you get more hours.

And no they don't do the points per day like they did last year. Last year was like 7 points per day between games.

yep its the coaching "level"


andy reid was a level 15, I tanked the season in pretty epic fashion, I was getting 70 hours of prep, he went to level 9 and now gives me 60 hours.


I assume that is what its about

I assume that is what its about

So this coach level thing is the reason and it's in pre-season of first year. I've won all my pre-season games so far. I have to take a look at what I can do for the coach.

Yep, it's coach level. Pete Carroll is a level 30 with 80 game prep hours.

That explains a lot. I am playing Titans with Wisenhunt and he is only lvl3. Making already difficult xping even more so. At the rate Wisenhunt picks up xp it will take a couple of seasons to even begin getting discount packages. Pretty much guarantees him being fired after the first season.
