    Yep, infuriating... They tell us the tuner only touches the pass catching and it is so clear it touches other aspects of the game as well...Rex may think only the catching was touched, but I think he's got a little troll behind the scenes messing with some other things.

      In any case, this goes to show how screwed up these rosters are. I don't have time to dive any deeper, but I am sure I would be sick if I did. These ratings are horrible and a testament as to why we need new a new ratings system.

      Odell Beckham - 91 jump rating in game - 38.5" combine vertical - how do these ratings make any sense
      Easy to see, glaring issues like these blow my mind when it comes to madden. The game is definitely improving but can't play realistically if the players aren't rate accurately. At the very least you have to get the physical traits that anyone could google right.

        Running game seems exactly the same to me. All I've been playing is head to head though.

          Looking forward to those rosters for sure. The gameplay mechanics and physics are there. I couldn't even play Madden 15 WITH FBG rosters because of some of the issues but I'm loving this years games with default rosters. The line play just needs to be balanced properly, less overally time in blocks and more defense push/holding the point of attack in general to be more realistic. I just dont feel the dline is intense enough.

            It must be maddening(no pun intended) for the development team to monitor these issues because of the polar opposite opinions that are being expressed here. There are people in this thread whose opinion is 180 degrees opposite of mine when it comes to the tuner. They think the game has been made worse, and want things to go back, I'm hoping they don't mess up the great thing that they have going now. It's crazy.

              I have seen the opposite. Before the tuning update I was getting an average of 8-12 yards per carry, since the update I'm down to 5.5 ypc. On the same boot, I've found passing easier since the update... this is after 4 games played yesterday.

                Question: If I want to delete the tuning update, but I want the patch for CFM, can you download and keep a patch but choose to not download the tuning update? Or, is it likely that if I delete the tuning update today, when the patch rolls out in a few weeks, it will be essentially the tuning update and the patch rolled into one?

                    anyone notice the overall passing game has changed? I play as the eagles all the time and bradford all of a sudden cant hit a barn door, anything over 10 yards is overthrown id say 75% of the time, any pass deep down the sidelines always goes way over and out of bounds, it didnt seem to be like this before the update

                    I went 4-17 for 43 yards in a H2H game yesterday, he was missing everybody!

                      Every game is different. Last night I beat Sherman with the 49ers on all 4 bombs I threw. I went 75% against Seattle. All pro default. The next game I was 58% and I was not able to beat a no name cb.

                      Some games will work others don't. Move on the next.

                      To me deep is still op and there are no enough overthrows.

                        Just had a great game against the Pack. The Bears won the game on 4th and goal with no time left by Fuller deflecting the ball from their TE.

                          my only 4 completions were halfback screens LOL but all weekend i noticed terrible accuracy all around

                            What is Bradford's DAC? Before the tuning Mariotta was throwing all over the field. After the tuning, his 63 DAC is really showing up. I have completely stopped trying to throw down the field, but my short and medium passes are great.

                            I do think my running game has improved (I am a HUGE runner). Even though they didnt make any adjustments to running, I think what is happening is the DB's arent immediately shooting the running lanes now. Instead they are staying close to their receiver a few blinks longer allowing you to get a few steps towards the line of scrimmage.

                              What they tweak is very more simple than that. Just change the multiplayer win chances when multiplier defender are in the wr area.
                              The rest is just madden being different from game to game.

                              @RexDEAFootball: @booker2121 @Shopmaster increased catch chance penalty if multiple defenders near receiver. Higher chance of INT if Def wins catch outcome.

                                I think he is rated 64 in deep accuracy but I was overthrowing recievers wide open at 10-15 yards down field all weekend
