Pocket passers scrambling is not a post patch issue. I played a cfm with the raiders waiting for a patch before I started with my colts franchise. Playing the broncos twice Manning scrambled far too much and I did find it annoying after watching him never scramble irl for years with the colts in his prime. In the playoffs I played the patriots in the divisional round and Brady also was running a bit much. So I'm not saying it isn't happening but I'm saying it definetly exsisted pre patch. it wasn't the hugest issue though I think Manning scrambled like 5 times in those 2 games with 15 minute quarters but it was a little alarming considering that that's probably more than his whole career irl.

^^^ you two...did you have the issue post or pre tuner though?

So far it seems like this issue may be tuner related, or somehow confidence related...I don't really know why confidence would cause a QB to scramble (maybe a higher confidence makes him more confident he can run the ball LOL).

But on the other issue of guys seemingly being unable to miss WRs even though they are not good QBs....It is just a hunch, but I don't see how that wouldn't be a confidence issue. The more confident the QB is, he gets a ratings boost, he plays better, and I am sure there is some sort of behind the scenes algorithm that boosts players accuracy in relation to confidence as well...Confidence was the worst idea in madden ever. All it has ever done is create more problems than it has helped. Madden has been notorious in releasing a feature and then it disappearing after 2 years....well, this is one of those that they need to get rid of.

Been testing....night and day post patch. Something about this patch and the tuner does not jive. I noticed it right away with QB play.

I deleted the tuner and everything plays as it did before this patch.

Been streaming and it is so obvious.

I get the feeling the Play Now guys are seeing similiar to you and the CFM guys are seeing the wonkiness. First guess would lead me to believe it's tied to confidence. I have no proof just a hunch.

makes me wish they still included the old season mode.

one season, no progression or xp ... it was the only mode i played as i've never gotten into pretend drafts & scouting and building a team based on a wonky rookie player database

Out of curiosity, were you in the camp of "deep balls are OPed" prior to the tuner or no?

I would assume no since you're an offline CFM kind of guy. Seems like it was mostly user v user players that had the issue of people abusing the deep ball

Just played my second game of the night, the only issue I am having is high scoring games. Last game NYJ(me):45-39TEN. I will post some stats below. This is my second year as coach in CFM all pro with adjustments to sliders.
Mariota:
22-32 302yds 3 td 1 int, 5 rushes for 20yd (he ran only when under pressure)
Forte:
22 carries for 68yd 1td.

Jets
Gains(my rookie qb)
11-19 205yds 1td 1int
Griffin(rookie)
29 carries 156 yds 3 td
Stacy
9 carries 89 yds 2 rd

Overall it was a back and forth game, Mariota wasn't running randomly he would run when I would blitz. I am not noticing a lot of qb scrambles, or perfect passing on either side of the ball. Mariota missed at least 3 deep passes where they had me beat. I play strict player lock no switch on both sides of the ball and never control my QB.

Just me or anyone else notice frame rate issues? I've been having issues after big catches or running once i get past the line??

You can't delete a patch without deleting all subsequent patches (including the day 1 patch).

There is no day one patch

No, I never found the deep balls Oped at all vs the CPU.

No, there wasn't. I tested this the other day by removing the game from my XBOX one, which removes all patches (if installed) and completely reinstalled the game.

I did this in advance to the release of this patch because I knew it would have a negative impact on the game. There was no day one patch.

Hence the title of the thread...Madden 16 title update #1

My game still freezes after every franchise game and I have to completely exit out and load up everything again. Sometimes it saves it and sometimes it doesn't.

Anyone else still have this problem?

I feel you on that one. I haven't been able to do a franchise in four years due to the rookie classes being random and the XP system being unrealistic in its nature.

I like playing the Play Now games with FBG rosters, but that's all I can bear to do. Hopefully, this team will get the train back on the tracks in Madden 17 in regards to Franchise.

Just simmed a few years post patch.. As the Seahwaks.. Stopped the sim after 5 years and the Seahwaks had a whole new team !! Gone were:

Wilson
Lynch
Sherman
Baldwin

Honestly the entire team was new !! Why does the CPU completely change the team in the off season !! IRL that would never happen.. They had Geno Smith at QB !!
