According to ESPN stats, Bushrod gave up as many, or more, sacks in the picture above than 17 teams did in the league last year. The OP did mention that the Jags have up 71, but the next highest team was 58. By my quick calculations, the average team gave up roughly 38 sacks.

I think he's editing them prior to starting a franchise, which makes this workaround only valid for current players and not future ones.

Most all rookie QB's come in with those traits already. I dont know if you have ever noticed that

Just curious - what's the point in testing all of this? Would your solution be editing every QB in the league to make franchise playable?

Ya we would have to. That or wait for a second patch that won't happen anytime soon

Yes..most testing is done to see what we have to do to keep the CPU AI competitive

You would have to do all qbs to account for players changing teams. Robinson left the Rams after the 2nd season and his ratings nose dived.

Does not appear to be result of patch..appears they and us did not know the true reason for the regression..but it was found now...which is sack totals too high..Causing players rating to take dive

Wait a minute so something doesn't make sense. If this is the real cause for the problem, how did they 'fix' it? Either were wrong and there was never an issue or they didn't fix anything. It doesn't make sense. Really trying to understand bc I've been waiting to start my franchise.

I didn't see this in the patch notes as something that was intended to be fixed.

People forget this is faster than we've ever gotten a patch before and it wasn't intended to fix all problems. There will be more patches.

I just posted on the patch thread.. but...

If you switch your RG to the LT position (not edit just in depth chart) and LT in the RG position, your RG will regress or improve properly.



Here is what I did...

I switched
RG- Warmack 87 overall- pb-77/rb-93 with
LT- Lewan 86 overall- pb-84/rb-91 making

RG (playing LT)- Warmack- 82 overall same blocking.
LT (playing RG)-Lewan- 91 overall same blocking.

Simmed an entire season. (9-7)

RG (playing LT)- Warmack- 83(+1) pb-80/rb-96
LT (playing RG)- Lewan- 93(+3) pb-87/rb-94

switched back to normal position

RG(playing RG)- Warmack- 88(+2) same blocking
LT(playing LT)- Lewan- 89(+4) same blocking


I did this 4 times, the above being the 4th sim and the best.

1st time they each had +/- 1 to 2 pts from original. (6-10)
2nd time they were each unchanged. (8-8)
3rd time Lewan was injured and returned to starting LT upon
return Warmack was backup LT. Turned injury off 4th sim.

Does it have to be RG or can it be any OL position that's switched to LT? Did you try changing the LT position but keeping them at LT.
