OK, I'll adance my Rams franchise to week 17 and write down the AWR SAC MAC and DAC of each starting QB, and then I'll advance to week 1 of the playoffs and see what happens. I have noticed stats change mid season in my CFM, but only by a point here and there and I think it's just because of confidence affecting guys (positively & negatively) on other teams, or because I have CPU teams set to weekly progression and they're spending XP.

So I dunno if this is a bug or working as intended.
We advanced to post season and Chris Harris lost 3 awareness even tho he won DB of the year?"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Weird regression issue in CFM
I've noticed the exact same specific to QB accuracy when progressing into playoffs in offline CFM. QB led the league in almost all categories is was only 22...All I can attest to is random accuracy regression (just one of the accuracies, either DAC or MAC) when advancing to playoffs.
I haven't witnessed what others have mentioned.
I can prove the drops we just saw a week ago in SOS, you can see them on the daddyleagues page. Let me know if you want links to see for yourself.
I searched the whole league. I only saw 4 QBs regress. Our RBs stayed the same, nothing else changed. Nothing regressed mid-season for us. Just random regression when we advanced to wild card round.
Three of the four QBs had rough years turnover wise but still met goals, and like I said, Bortles was one of the best QBs in the league and lost 9 DAC I believeComment

Re: Weird regression issue in CFM
I normally play 2 leagues of CFM Offline. The first, I play the game and manage the team. The second, I just manage the team and sim games.
The first offline CFM I play with the Browns, obviously, and built up Manziel's stats. As soon as the offseason hits, he regresses DRAMATICALLY in MAC, DAC and AWR. So I was saddened because all the time it took to upgrade him is now worthless xp spent.
So I decided to create my own Roster and give everyone a 99 stat in every category whether or not they play that position per stat(like a kicker being as good as the actual QB) and it was available to upgrade. Then I simmed that entire season. Well simmed it each week individually until the trade deadline was over. I'm tired of the CPU deciding that I want to trade a starter or back up for something that's not worth it to me(EA WTF? I toggled that stuff off!). Anyways, Manziel went from 99 AWR to 68. DAC from 99 to 71. Year 2 I continue boosting his stats again. In the offseason his AWR was 34 and DAC 58. Meanwhile in season 1 he had 80 TD's and 4 INT's. Season 2 was 74 TD's and 6 INT's. Both with over 6k yards passing. That's horrendous for how DEVs create a game that based on stats! Even if it is simmed!
If they have a slow development rate or not, you spent the time to build up someone, only for them to loose all the xp you used hours of your time to build up. Also half of my team in that sim, not close to 30, lost a lot of stat points as well. This rant is long enough no to include the other garbage this game has been for me. Run out of bounds? Clock still runs. Got 10 seconds left and you're in field goal position to win but they have that stupid replay **** happen and then by the time you get to pick a play with no timeouts the game is over? Run hurry up offense. Not available replay is more important. Thanks! /s I'll probably buy nexts years bad game too in hope you fixed it.Comment

Re: Weird regression issue in CFM
So you made a roster with the Browns where you changed Manzeil and every player to 99 in every stat on the whole team? And then Manzeil regressed in AWR 99 to 68? And his DAC regressed from 99 to 71?
Could this regression glitch be that no matter what you progress certain skills to they regress to what it was when the roster was originally loaded when advancing to the playoffs?
Maybe that's why it happens to certain players and we cant figure out the rhyme or reason?Comment

Re: Weird regression issue in CFM
if you simulate to week 1 of p re season of the next year you can go into your game prep and look and see that most of your players will go down significantly the week of the super bowl no matter what. this game is brokenComment

That's when regression is supposed to take place, isn't it?Comment

Re: Weird regression issue in CFM
Yup. And it's meant to be countered by XP use.
The problem wasn't so much the end of season drops, but the In-season ones. I think it was 2 or 3 sack games that caused OL to lose a point or two off their blocking attributes each time it happened. So those drops, combined with the end of season drop, were what was causing the real problem.
Has anyone checked the weekly progression to see if LT's are still losing blocking ratings during the season? There was a similar issue with QB's throwing INT's as well - Romo probably lost 7-8 accuracy points during my OSSSL league due to a few 3 INT games.Comment

Re: Weird regression issue in CFM
you shouldnt be losing 5-10 points with someone when you cant get enough xp to buy barley 1 good stat. i had my lt that gave up only like 3 sacks all year go down 6 pass blocking and 5 awarness. he went from an 82 to a 77. it doesnt make any sense at all. and usually players dont really regress untill they get old. your not going to have a 80 run pass block today and wake up tomorrow and have a 74Comment

Re: Weird regression issue in CFM
Agreed. Hence why I feel this game is a complete write off. I returned my copy today after waiting, installing and still being disappointed with the regression issues and LT sack numbers.
Rex is now non responsive on Twitter about this issue...typicalComment

It seems to be backup/mediocre type QBs that people are building up to be really good that take this hit too. It's like the game is looking at it and is like "this guy isn't supposed to be this good. Let's fix it"Comment
