I didn't test it enough to really know. Guys feel less "stuck" to blocks but that's about the best I can say right now.Comment

From what I've seen in the clips Qb's have not attempted to escape any sacks or fight them off. Will Qb's especially mobile ones attempt to dodge and fight off sack sacks? Will their be more struggle tackles on sack attempts? For example if a free blitzer, say a DB is coming at the Qb, will they have the awareness to attempt to dodge the free runner?Comment

They've been able to break out of tackles but it is a dice roll. Dodging though? Not really any different from 16.

Hmmm, I'm gonna guess that tomorrow's blog will be presentation. So if you're favorite feature has something to do with that.. I would say your new favoirte feature will be Custom User Camera angles. Where you could zoom in/out, ground/birds eye view angle and basically just tune however you want your camera settings to be.
A cool thing to piggyback of this idea IMO, maybe make a customizable camera for every part of the game.. As in, say you want the wide camera view for pre-play, but all-22 when you look at play art, then you'd save your camera settings for each different situation. Run play, can be closer to a zoom view, pass play closer to the wide view.. Punts could be more of a broadcast view if you wanted too. I get lots of extra hours out of NBA2k just being able to change the perspective of how I play on the court. Sometimes i roll with the "2k" camera with the angle near the ground level, and it can be pretty cool to almost feel like you're on the court. I think Custom Camera is long overdue in maddenComment

Hey MrPrice. Are they steadily and slowly adding new features into M17 or is the game finished on a feature standpoint and from now on is just testing and getting all the kinks out? Rex said its in Alpha but Alpha and Beta are really broad terms.Comment

I am troubled by the base defenses (4-3/3-4) aligning the front and coverage to the run strength, because you'll be out flanked, regardless what you choose. It doesn't bring strategy to the game, it makes it an unrealistic guessing game. Did you find this problematic when you were playing the game?Comment

Not at all. What makes you think that would happen that way? I'm trying to understand what about it makes you think you'll be outflanked and that it'll be a guessing game. If anything, it's the opposite.

Game is done from a feature standpoint. Testing, tuning all that's happening between now and mid July
