Haven't listened to all of it but having a accuracy penalty when kicking in snow or rain is great.

Yep. Part of a multi-year plan to have weather and stadiums affect gameplay in Madden.Comment

I hope it's not tooooo over powered though. We'll see. I'm happy with this years improvements. People are too quick to say they're disappointed, but in comparison to every other Madden release, this is by the furthest forward the developers have stepped.Comment

It would be cool if road teams playing in Denver might have a slight fatigue penalty due to the altitude. Or dome teams/warm weather teams maybe having a tougher time playing in Green Bay or New England in December/January. Not expecting those in this year, but those would be cool additions for the future.Comment

Re: I've played ~40 hours of Madden 17: AMAlmost Anything (Answers in first post)
One of my really big critiques when it comes to these podcasts and interviews is that they are often cumulative. We get the same questions asked over and over again, and they basically serve as an opportunity for the developers to promote the game.
I feel like there are so many fundamental questions big and small that we don't ever have the chance to ask them. For example, I would really like to know why we can't get offensive linemen injured in the game - that's just something I would like to understand. Also, I'd like to know if we will ever be able to play all time offense for all 32 teams in CFM like we did before.
There are big questions that could be asked about the future. What is the next major step for CFM? What is your vision for the future of Madden? Stuff like that needs to be asked.
I mean, it's really cool they've added the kicking bonuses, but like some others have said, it was hardly "MASSIVE".XBOX Series X Gamer Tag: AlsbronComment

Unfortunately we just didn't have the time we wanted to go that in depth. I want hours but had 15 minutes.
Also, some of that stuff can't be answered yet. We know what the long term vision for CFM is, but they can't talk about it yet.

Very cool addition. Do you have any idea if the stadium locations/weather will only impact the kicking game, or will it affect other areas of the game?

These things are coming.

Sorry that I haven't had a chance to watch the video. Could someone give me a rundown of how this is different from last year? The wind affected kicking last year as well. What is different?Comment

It would be nice if there was more working together on our part in the community so we can ask questions that build on one another. I understand that many of the GameChangers have tertiary considerations and networking to consider. Everybody wants to get their subs and their hits, but the Madden community needs to work together to extract information more effectively.Last edited by NateDogPack12; 06-14-2016, 03:59 PM.XBOX Series X Gamer Tag: AlsbronComment

NateDogPack12 is spot on imo, no offense to anyone that does the interviews and thanks to you all for taking your time to get the info out, it would just be nice to get more "off script" Q&A when possible.
Along with that thought, I've asked before, I wonder why is it some gamers that are fortunate enough to play the game early and know what's mostly in the game to a point, even the "bad", still choose to seemingly just hype the good. I get they can't go into details about any of it but it's been a rare few times, RGiles comes to mind, I've seen someone be candid like "can't speak specifics but there were definitely some disappointments for me", the same way they say "can't talk about that yet but I'm excited to!". Not trying to call anyone out, I think it's easy to get caught up in the hype this time of year, hell I haven't been able to really get into Madden for sometime yet I still enjoy this time of year. Just saying more balance in that area would be nice, imo.
As far as the reveal about weather effecting the ball on kicks and punts, that's nice they expanded it but like someone else mentioned, it was already effected by wind. The issue in regard to weather effects on the ball was on passes, Clint said back when they first added wind effects on kick/punts, "that would be overkill" if added to passes due to the pass inaccuracies, so is that still the case or does this weather effects plan encompass passes at some point?
Edit: Someone in my earpiece just told me wind seems to effect deep passes in M16, so that makes my early comment about weather on passes dated, my apologies, like I said didn't really put much time into M16. So again, hopefully these weather effects will all carry over to passes too.Last edited by Big FN Deal; 06-14-2016, 04:03 PM.Comment

It's a hard balance to work through. I can't speak for anyone else, but our show is going to continue get better and push for more information and more access.
