The weather stuff was cool, but I actually thought the "massive" thing was ice the kicker...Price can correct me if I'm wrong, but I got the impression the "muscle memory" comment meant the meter would disappear, and you have to use "muscle memory" to nail it.

Is this wrong? I LOVE this idea, if I understood it correctly.

Also the franchise telemetry is to me something that is absolutely a game changer in CFM. And we know now how the ticker works!

Are stadiums with retractable roofs still always closed in franchise mode? If not, do we get to choose or does the weather determine if its open or closed?

It might be in, but my guess is it will happen when Madden converts to the frostbite engine.

MrPrice, I was wondering if hair is editable for players. It's something I want very badly. But honestly am not expecting. But the fact that they said everything was customizable for players gave me some hope.

Also I heard that when you edit a player his picture changes too? Is that correct? How does that work?

Thank you for taking the time to anwser questions.

You edit the head similar to NCAA. The picture reflects the head you choose

Mrprice thanks for all the info, during your playtime could you tell if the difference between 70's, 80's, and 90's throw accuracy was anymore noticeable than last year?

Along with that thought, I've asked before, I wonder why is it some gamers that are fortunate enough to play the game early and know what's mostly in the game to a point, even the "bad", still choose to seemingly just hype the good. I get they can't go into details about any of it but it's been a rare few times, RGiles comes to mind, I've seen someone be candid like "can't speak specifics but there were definitely some disappointments for me", the same way they say "can't talk about that yet but I'm excited to!". Not trying to call anyone out, I think it's easy to get caught up in the hype this time of year, hell I haven't been able to really get into Madden for sometime yet I still enjoy this time of year. Just saying more balance in that area would be nice, imo.

As far as the reveal about weather effecting the ball on kicks and punts, that's nice they expanded it but like someone else mentioned, it was already effected by wind. The issue in regard to weather effects on the ball was on passes, Clint said back when they first added wind effects on kick/punts, "that would be overkill" if added to passes due to the pass inaccuracies, so is that still the case or does this weather effects plan encompass passes at some point?

Edit: Someone in my earpiece just told me wind seems to effect deep passes in M16, so that makes my early comment about weather on passes dated, my apologies, like I said didn't really put much time into M16. So again, hopefully these weather effects will all carry over to passes too.
This is a pretty good video

Finally was able to listen to the whole interview, kudos, to you and your Co-host, it was a really good one, imo. You guys were able to glean some "off script" info and I liked that. Glad to hear Ice the Kicker in Madden seems way more realistic than the one in NCAA Football with the frosty visuals and telemetry does sound intriguing, especially coupled with the details about every concepts having a theoretic counter and game planning.

@Cowboy008, yeah I saw that one a little earlier by Regular Dave, it was well balanced, imo. He just played it for the first time at EA play though and of course isn't under any NDAs and whatnot, I was referring to gamers that play it much earlier in my other post.

I agree that this a solid, balanced take on Madden. I like this dude's approach in critiquing the game.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
