You need to go to users and create 31 more head coach's. Take about 10-15 to set up but not 100 percent if you can put all on auto

Beware though, the new score ticker on the bottom of the screen will no longer say team names and instead say your Xbox live name. Itll look like this for every update.

Something like that for EVERY team. It's a deal breaker for me so be decided to stick to one team this year.

One question. When setting u 32 team control, do you generally use Coach or Owner for the other teams?

In league options, set trades to "enable human" before you start, otherwise CPU trades will be executed before you can make all of the teams user-controlled.

I realized that I screwed up when I set up my CFM. Basically, I had 31 owners and one coach.

I retired the coach and switched to the owner, and it seems okay.

The way I understand it is, "retiring" your user coach doesn't retire him from the virtual NFL, just removes him from being your character.

Is this correct? It doesn't seem like it messed anything up, but I don't want to proceed deep into my franchise only to find out there are problems.

If I stick top Coach for one team, is there a way to use a custom roster and ensure that no trades take place or any transactions that would change the teams? I know you can turn injuries off or set them at a low value. Also, I assume you can import sliders or do you have to manually change them inside CFM now as well?

I can't confirm for this years Madden but last year I think I saw on here that retiring a coach does only retire him from being your character and not from the league. Don't see why it would different this year if I'm correct.
