Quick and perhaps dumb question. People are talking using the OOB version. If you do that, what big changes are you missing? I know color rush and some stretch play tuning, but any other "game breakers" that were fixed?

For funsies, I went back to OOB and played skins vs rams in Play Now. Goff was 8 of 16 with 2 drops, 1 pick and 5 bad throws. He had 2-3 other high or outside throws that receivers hauled in but at least 5 of his throws were high, way off target, or way out front.

Horrible drafts with 18 studs in every draft just in the first round. And no formation subs.

I just go to PS4 Settings and uncheck the "Connect to the Internet" box under "Network"...

No internet connection = no updates...

Only thing is then you will not get updates to any game. I wish there was a way to make it so you could go back to any old patch on a game or a way to make it so you could not download a patch on select games.

The QB run glitch(scrambling) looks like it was user only. It was causing QB's not to scramble and according to Rex, it's been fixed, but is not in the patch notes.

I don't think this means, all of a sudden, the CPU Russel Wilson's will take off scrambling down the field.

I am not even really sure what that glitch is then lol.

I'm a little confused on the fumble slider issue, too. I'd always heard we moved it to the left to increase fumbles, has this been changed?

Yeah I am confused about that to its always been the lower the slider the more fumbles and now all of a sudden after years and years it sounds like it may be the opposite of that.

Regardless of how you feel about it, MUT functions clearly took priority this time and people feel burned about it. I'm glad you dont, but sim gamers do.

Odd that you're implying I'm not a sim gamer based on absolutely nothing. Cool.

My thoughts? It's stupid that this issue exists and incredibly poor form to say it was fixed when that fix wasn't being pushed out to players.

I just think we can make this point without trying to push the us vs them monopoly bull****.

What was the issue with Formation subs?

QBA- Stated 2 weeks ago on Twitter that they were investigating. No way can a investigation from 2 weeks ago go to verify a bug, fix a bug, in-house house certification and console certification in two weeks.

QB Scramble- No fix. There was a glitch fixed on the user side of QB scrambles.

FG's too easy? I'm assuming that is what you were alluding to, about a week ago they said they would look into it and this was via Twitter.

The last title update was the beginning of October. The next one will be in December/January,

I am still not sure what the user scrambling issue was. I could run with the QB. 2 Weeks ago for the QB accuracy no way. It has been at least like 5-6 weeks. FG's to easy was also said to be something they where at least looking into 5-6 weeks ago. Also considering it has been around like 12 weeks since the patch came out that messed up FG kicking and QB accuracy how that would mean it took them like 10 weeks to realize that the patch caused those issues no way. If we don't get a patch to fix QB accuracy in till Jan you are talking about like 3 plus months to fix a problem that just about makes the game unplayable. The game played really good before the patches and now needs to be played with out the patch but is sucks that with out the patch you are going to have the issue of to many good players in the draft.

Cpu not being able to punt properly should have been at the top of the priority list.

What was the issue with Formation subs?

There wouldn't be any in franchise. Because you would 0 patches including the day 1 patch which brought formation subs to CFM.

Is it your understanding Roadman that it took them ~4 weeks just for QA to commit to investigating the issue? BCrusie provided video evidence to them in Mid-October which they acknowledged.

Right I knew 2 weeks was off. Mid October would be like 5-6 weeks ago.

Chavrolos from OS, 2 weeks ago brought up on Twitter the QBA issue and after a few exchanges back and forth, Clint stated, good news, QA is investigating. Take it for what it's worth. That is the time line.

Same with fg issue. Film was provided to Mr. Price and he responded that is was a design decision with the fg issue. About a week ago or so, Clint stated on Twitter they would look into the the fg issue. So, that went to a design decision to a we will look at it. Take it for what it's worth.

We didn't have any info one way or the other from that time frame, so, I would conclude yes on that.

I'm sure they were well into other fixes for the patch that just came out today. We always hear about timing, resources and priority on their end and I wouldn't expect that equation to change.

Exactly. At this rate the whole Football season will be over before this game becomes playable again which is inexcusable. Pretty much the games been unplayable throughout the whole football season so far because of this. Shocking and disappointing that it's taking EA so long to even investigate it, never mind fix it.
