CM Hoe you obviously haven't posted on many MUT forums then. The general consensus among most MUT players/posters i have came across say its gambling. Go to any MUT forum and ask the players if they feel MUT incorporates gambling.

if half of those are fixed, I'll be happy, if all of them, I will be ecstatic.
I just don't agree that they cater everything to the MUT players, I looked over the patches and there were fixes to CFM and game play.
CM- The CFM people won't change until they actually see the title update in February and see what it addresses.
Honestly, I don't have any expectations for the February patch. But wait & see.Comment

QB ACC is isolated, but needs to be fixed, and supposedly, there might be one in February, but yeah, it's wait and see time.
Like CM said, there are two separate teams when it becomes MUT vs CFM.
Tournaments have a higher % of getting fixes out before the tournament.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 17 Patch #9 Available Now, Full Details Here
Look - I am a mobile video game developer working for a funded startup headed by, among others, a former EVP of Zynga's mobile division and a former creative director of Madden NFL. I work with people who used to work in design and content for Madden Ultimate Team and Madden Mobile. It's part of my job description to know where the line is between pay-to-win and gambling. Madden Ultimate Team, NBA 2K MyTeam, and related modes don't come close to crossing that line.
The only potential trouble area Madden NFL may have is the "pick em" promotion Tiburon sometimes does where users earn more soft currency based on correctly predicting a real-life game result, but even that requires no payment for entry. To that end, this specific component is also not gambling.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 17 Patch #9 Available Now, Full Details Here
For me in the next patchapter the priorities should be.
1. Quarterbacks run the ball in football. To have the only nfl football game not have this makes the game a failure.
2. Punting worked decades ago. It ruins immersion when field position is altered in such an unrealistic way.
3. Qb accuracy. I dont have this problem because I don't play on All madden but to many it is catastrophic to their enjoyment of the game. The big reason I don't have the high completion rates is
4. Quarterbacks are too afraid of sacks. They are not trying to win a football game. They are trying to not get sacked. The throw aways as soon as a defender sheds a block has to be fixed. Seeing over 20 throw aways in a game is ludicrous. This is actally the issue that pisses me off the most when playing.
If these issues are fixed in a February path I will be very happy. If not this game will go down as a disgrace in madden series.Comment

Yes CM Hoe we all know you're a video game designer.....you been telling people that for 10 years on here. But back on the topic of our conversation, about 80 percent of all MUT players would disagree with your assessment in regards to gambling. What are you gonna tell me next???? That people don't make real life money off of MUT? I'm not that naive......I know gambling when I see it. It's a shame what Madden has become.Comment

[QUOTE=Ueauvan;2048673662]and personally id add formation
It would be nice if we could use formation subs for all formatons in a custom book. Also, if the sim engine used those subs and formations when Siming through advancing the week. That is bit much to hope for in a patch but would love to see it added in the future.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 17 Patch #9 Available Now, Full Details Here
I think they do. I can look at the patches and see that they do. I just see it differently than you do. It doesn't bother me because I realize that any business is going to chase revenue. If they don't they will be replaced with someone who will. It is the glaring failures in gameplay listed above which i guess affect mut also that bother me the most.
I say they lean toward MUT because there have been two MUT tournaments in the last two months and that is what the last two title updates have focused on. 100% agree there. Those are the title updates that are fresh in our minds.
Going over prior title updates, they do include game play and CFM updates as well. My point is that they haven't neglected CFM or game play with the past title updates.
And before anyone states a comeback for the above, I realize there are game play issues that have remain neglected.Comment

The popular opinion you speak of quite clearly does not align with the written law, and the burden of proof lies with the accuser. Prove MUT is gambling, else it's not.
What are you gonna tell me next???? That people don't make real life money off of MUT? I'm not that naive......I know gambling when I see it. It's a shame what Madden has become.
I'm not so naive to ignore that there may exist a third-party out-of-game market for MUT cards, similar to the third-party markets around Steam trading cards or Counter-Strike: Global Offensive skins. That stated, if people are selling Microsoft XBOX Live or Sony PSN Plus accounts associated with certain MUT teams, and/or if they are selling MUT cards via offering farcical trades in exchange for real-life money handed over outside of the game, those are clear-as-day violations of the Microsoft / Sony / EA Sports respective terms of service, and the companies again are not legally liable in this case.
It's also not gambling, as gambling implies risk. What I described above is rather a simple commercial transaction; person A spends money to buy person B's XBL account.Last edited by Hooe; 01-26-2017, 03:10 PM.Comment
