I play user vs cpu offline all madden franchise and my running game is nuked since the patch. My HB had around 1,500 yds, 5.5 ypc the last three seasons, since the patch he's barely avg 3 ypc through 14 games.
Considering it's easy to pass there's not much incentive to run. Also, there's this weird bug where the player i'm controlling will randomly stop running for no reason. On offense and defense. Maybe the controller is going bad.Comment

My Left tackle at least once a drive(mostly on first down) will go into a blocking war with...NOBODY and allow the DE to just run in and sack my QB.

I have this issue as well.
For the life of me I couldn't figure out what triggers it.
But it is my LT doing the blocking of ghosts (one time my LG, but almost always the LT) and never my RT or RG.
I went on Twitter and uploaded a video of my QB getting sacked while my LT grappled with a ghost and left me to get nailed, and I saw another person on Twitter uploaded a video of the same exact thing happening to them. They had tweeted Clint and John White, so I tagged them and the other Twitter people so they would have 2 videos of it happening.
So they are definitely aware. But they wouldn't answer our tweets asking if it would be fixed, they only said they were aware of the issue.
So I wouldn't hold your breath on it getting fixed.
What is super annoying is I have NEVER had it happen to the CPU. It's only my team, and it happens at least a few times per game for me.
Also, practice mode and skills trainer are ruined for me, they suffer from a super slow frame rate. I've tried re-installing madden, the patches, I tried hard resets of my PS4 and nothing fixes it. Both issues started only after the last patch. It kind of stinks what might be the last patch was so poorly tested... but this is EA, what else is new?
I've just given up on practices and I sim them all since the patch, and I just accept the patch causes the ghost glitch. This is Madden, it will always suffer from several severe glitches, you just have to accept it and always buy a disc copy used, lest you feed the monopoly beast.Comment

Oh good, thanks for the update on that. Last tweets on it I had seen they just acknowledged my tweet and those from others, but didnt say "we will fix it."
So that's good news. Hopefully they fix the slow frame rate on skills trainer and practice too.
EDIT: Also, in my tweets I made it clear I thought that otherwise the patch was awesome. I want them to feel encouraged when patches/changes please the sim community. The changes they made to the QBA slider and O-line stats meaning something is awesome.Comment

The balloon punting glitch is still there. Played as Redskins against the Steelers in a Play Now game with 16mph wind and the AI punted into the wind twice from its 40 yard line and 45 yard line and both times the punt went about 3 yards past the line of scrimmage where a rugby scrum waited for it to come down.
I thought they had it fixed. Its back to where it was before. The 25 yard line drives are better than this.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

I have tried and tried to enjoy this game, Even with it's flaws I have tried to make the best out of it. I think today was the last straw. After all the work, effort and time we have spent the frustration to make it somewhat realistic and enjoyable it is just to much.
As many of you know I only play, Play of the moment OFFLINE. Today was our big play division championship game. After working 2 years trying to get our Browns to the SB. One of us plays offense, the others defense and we switch on and off. We went 13 and 3 and were playing KC for the Championship game. It was at Cleveland in a 14 MPH wind. For times we punted the ball into the wind and got our 15 yd punt ( That was Supposed to be fixed. ) twice the ball came down and hit one of our guys in the back of the head and bounced around. Leaving KC in great field position.
We were still winning 17 to 14 with less than three minutes left. We kicked a field goal to make it 20 to 14 and then as it has done many times, the game went into the freeze mode. It didn't lock up, it just wouldn't advance, got our delay of game penalty. The only thing you can do at this point is close application and reboot the game. After rebooting the game returned BUT, it changed uniforms, it was raining and worst of all it switched the controller. We were now controlling the Chiefs. So we couldn't use our time outs, couldn't call defense or offense. All we could do is set there and watch as KC went straight down the field to score a TD with 12 seconds left.
There is absolutely no excuse for the game to continue doing this. EA has been advised of this many many times. It completely changes and ruins the game and EA should be ashamed of putting out a product like this. I thank goodness that it's almost Baseball season and the best sports game on the market will be out soon. It's bad enough that EA has said the Punt issue was fixed, The blocking ghost issue, and so many others problems ruin a game after all this time. All the time and effort I have spent on this game just to have it ruined because of a recurring problem that EA has not fixed. It isn't worth my time anymore. Flaws are one thing it can be worked around, But when you spend an hour playing a game and it locks up and completely switches the entire game and removes you from it. It is nothing but a waste of time, especially when it happens over and over.When I do something right, No one ever remembers.

So I just had my Safety miss a tackle that lead to a touchdown by the CPU team's RB... because my Safety suddenly began grappling with a ghost.
Uggg, it's not just LT's on the O-Line that grapple with ghosts. It can happen on Defense too.

I'm thinking this and punting have drawn me back to OOTB version. Cpu could actually be a run threat w/o making the blocking so OP'd. I no longer fear the run or even the "edge-run" w/ AP 1.10.Comment
