As a MUT player, I think the update is a great. When I read it, my thought was that I hoped that things like making lower rated OL less capable would be included in MUT. I love Salary Cap MUT, but hate that using bronze OL is a thing.

Adding risk/reward to the hit stick is big, too.

But hey, it's always great to see how people on the site feel free to rip the MUT and DC crowd because they understand the game so much better.(said with dripping sarcasm)

How is man coverage? I'm curious if the sliding and terrible reaction to the receiver making a cut was fixed. It was fine until I believe the patch in October.

Hahaha I actually laughed at that comment.. Yea I'm wondering if it's just cause it's at 0 or has to do with the QB.. Atlest there is a fix I may try setting it at maybe hmm 25 kinda in between default and 0... Ivebeen using all pro default sliders seemed pretty decent

Yea igot so tired of the defenders taking weird angles and making these crazy dive attempts and be way off or their dives were more like just falls to the ground

Very sad still no Qb scrambling. One big flaw in game

I'm seeing it in practice mode when throwing comebacks at least.

First game post patch was pretty good. I went default all-pro, 15 minutes with 20 runoff (138 plays, a bit too many, will be dropping either/both of those for my next game). Final was 28-17 Cowboys over Chargers.

                    Passing:

                    Romo 23-42 299 yds, 2 TD, 2 INT
                    Rivers 21-31 209 yds, 2 TD 3 INT

                    Rushing:

                    Elliott 30 carries, 151 yards
                    Gordon 25 carries, 72 yards

                    Receiving:

                    Bryant 6 rec, 162 yds, 1 TD
                    Benjamin 6 rec, 62 yds

                    10 sacks in the game.

As you can probably tell by the defensive stats, both QB's were definitely feeling the pressure. I did feel like I didn't have as much time to throw the ball and it forced some bad decisions. Dallas' O-line is good, but I still couldn't hold the ball forever.

I didn't see much in the QB accuracy, but I didn't expect to since I left it on 50. I think Rivers had 2 bad passes and I threw one behind a Elliott on a flat where he reached back and tried to one-hand it (unsuccessfully) Looked cool. From the test I did I know that accuracy will impact the game now though.

Definitely want to get some more games in, loving it so far.

Do you guys ever get Offensive Lineman injuries? I don't think I've had one and it kind of makes it pointless to have backups. ?

That is a sore subject and the only way to get OL injuries is to sim seasons. I don't see many DL injuries, either.

ok. thanks. yeah, I have had a couple ends and tackle on defense go out but not many. it is easier to rotate those guys and more realistic to play like that so it's not as bothersome. the offensive lineman injuries is a real bummer.

Can anyone comment if the CPU QB throws more balls downfield? Too often they either hold on or throw out of bounds rather than take chances.

One idea as far as linemen injuries that I've read in the past here and I really like, is the idea of taking some or all of your OL/DL and going to a random number generator site. From there, for each player, you say something like on a 1-100 scale, if I roll a 25 or below (or the opposite, not both) 75 or above, then this player is injured (feel free to tweak the scale obviously). From there you can either determine the length of the injury by the number below 25/above 75 that you rolled and use that as the number of weeks injured, or you can re-roll with 1-17 or whatever range you like and either use the first roll, or generate an average, or whatever, to determine how many games to sit that player.

In the absence of real OL/DL injuries, I use this as almost a house rule to make sure I'm playing on something closer to a level playing field with the CPU.
