Browns for sure. Some young buildable players and incredibly valuable draft picks for the coming draft. Debating between them and the Packers of course for my league.

Re: Post-draft: What team intrigues you most for M18?
Any franchise that I've ever made it past 2-3 seasons has been with the Pats. This year, if I can really get into franchise mode, I'm going to play with the Browns. Still a team that needs a lot of love and I like the fact they have a young QB like Deshone Kizer. He's not a stud so it's going to take a lot of work to get him to be a winning QB. If he pans out, great. If not, I get to draft a new one.
I feel like that is something that might actually have been said in the Browns Front Office a few times over the past decade or so.Comment

With that franchise it wouldn't surprise me! [emoji23]

I like to rebuild teams, so I'll probably go with the Jets.
The Browns could be interesting, but they could be to easy to turn around with those 5 picks over the 1st two rounds.Comment

Going to play as myself as the new owner of the Indianapolis Colts for my main franchise mode. Have been a die hard Andrew Luck fan since his days in college at Stanford. Andrew Luck is by far my favorite current NFL player and I would like to finally get him a Super Bowl ring. Colts helped their push rush out by signing Johnathan Hankins, Jabaal Sheard, John Simon and Barkevious Mingo. Plus they added Malik Hooker in the first round of the draft. They got a pretty good offense, but, than any offense with Luck as the QB should be able to put up a decent amount of points. Decent O-line that could still likely use some help. Decent running back group that consists of Frank Gore, Robert Turbin, Christine Michael, and Josh Ferguson. Solid recovering corps of Hilton, Dorsett, and Moncrief. They are a middle of the road type team. Possible playoff contender and division winner, in an improving division, but not really a true Super Bowl contender. Going to see if I can take the team and turn them into a perennial Super Bowl contender.MLB Teams:Phillies and Yankees

Re: Post-draft: What team intrigues you most for M18?
The Bears. I'm really curious about the QB situation (nothing new in Chicago). And I want to see how good UDFA Tanner Gentry does.
It's kinda funny. I'm a lifelong Packers fan, but after the questionable later round picks, I actually want to see the Bears spank them. I could be wrong, but I think that all of the 4-7th round picks were full of lesser players and the walking wounded. I know that injuries aren't permanent, and you can fully recover these days, but why did they scout the hospitals for players. And some of the guys weren't quality players in college so why do they think that they will do better in the NFL?Comment

Re: Post-draft: What team intrigues you most for M18?
Every year I make a list of which teams I would pick from each division. Then, when my league starts picking teams, I take what's still available. We have a small league, so we have a one person per division rule, and then we all play for the playoffs. Here's what I'm thinking for 18:
AFC North: Cincinnati
AFC South: Jacksonville
AFC West: Kansas City
AFC East: Miami
NFC North: Detroit
NFC South: New Orleans
NFC West: Arizona
NFC East: New York
The Bengals or Cardinals are my top picks right now. May change as we get closer. I prefer to pick a team I haven't used yet, or no one else has used yet if possible (leagues been going since Madden 13). I also like a middle of the road team with enough quality players to be competitive, but enough holes to provide me with the challenge of building something. I like teams with old QBs so I can go draft an heir, and uniforms and stadiums play a big part too.Tim from @TheNanoBlitz

Re: Post-draft: What team intrigues you most for M18?
The Mahomes/Smith storyline is ONLY interesting in a world where AWR matters in Madden when you're in control. Without AWR, Mahomes is your starter, Smith can be cut. Thank you, good night. There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.
The first kind is wrong. The second is superfluous.

Re: Post-draft: What team intrigues you most for M18?
Texans definitely look nice, Watson will be highly rated as a rookie most likely and that defense with Watt/Clowney/Mercilus will be destructive. Can't forget about DeAndre Hopkins, WFV, and Lamar Miller on offense.
Biased but the Falcons are gonna be deadly. Same insane offense so nothing needs to be talked about there, but in franchise you're gonna be able to build off a defense with Takk/Jarrett/Poe/Beasley on the d-line, Deion/Duke/DeVondre at LB, and Keanu/Trufant in the secondary.Los Angeles Lakers, Las Vegas Golden Knights, Atlanta Falcons

Re: Post-draft: What team intrigues you most for M18?
can't believe no one has said the Eagles yet! the pass rush is going to be so good, and on offense there is a franchise QB and some other nice tools. should be a fun team for those looking to push a team over the hump rather then do a complete rebuild.Comment

Eagles are definitely one of those "almost, but not quite" teams. Find a great pass-catcher for Wentz, some CB help, and you're looking at a solid team. Definitely have a great foundation there.Los Angeles Lakers, Las Vegas Golden Knights, Atlanta Falcons

Re: Post-draft: What team intrigues you most for M18?
The browns because I love rebuilding teams as I can develop them how I want and not worry so much about being a SB contender year 1 or 2 in online CFM. Unless I can make a move or two. I run a hybrid defense so with all the young talent i can be flexible maybe even move Garret to OLB if his strength isn't a 85+. Adding another CB to give Joe Haden on #2 wr. I will probably trade away Coleman as I prefer bigger WR's. Definitely starting the Rookie qb out of Norte Dame.
Jags i will develop their o-line so where my two backs can pound that hole. Fournette and Yeldon. Move on from the QB along with trading one of their WR's for a big body WR 6'4 +225lb i need a big target for my scheme. Defense add another CB so I can run my aggressive 3-3-5 scheme maybe even a 4-2-5 They have two linebackers who can cover which I NEED for my d scheme. Have Fowler strictly as pass rusher whether standing up or on ground. Safety spots I always look for someone who can cover with solid hitting skills. I user the weakest of my safeties so idc who is back here as much.Comment

Re: Post-draft: What team intrigues you most for M18?
Despite looking at playing as my two favorite teams in the Eagles and the Colts, another team fascinates me. That team is the Arizona Cardinals. Larry Fitzgerald and Carson Palmer both aren't getting any younger. Palmer is 37 years old, so the need to find his eventual replacement is huge. And since, I love drafting a quarterback in the first round to be my eventual franchise QB, I would likely target one in the 2018 draft. Also another reason I am looking at the Cardinals is because I am fan of Haason Reddick. Should I draft a QB in the first round I would likely redshirt him in 2018, so that Palmer can play out the final year of his contract.MLB Teams:Phillies and Yankees
