I hear ya, used to do the same thing on the Genesis, used big spreadsheets. I'd even cut out helmet pics and paste them into the proper divisions, even do newspaper type blurbs about what happened in each of the games.
What ever happened to being able to simply start a season?

Wow. Now I'm gonna really date myself: my brother and I used to do that with Tecmo Super Bowl. It did season play (you hear that, EA? Even a game on the NES could handle a simple season) but we'd keep track of stats.Comment

NCAA 14 had a fantastic "quick" season mode and i played the hell out of that and then we all know what happened to that series. This new play now season intrigues me and im interested in how easy it will be to control the braindead cpu roster moves. hope they will be diabled all together.
The play now mode I like since it has real life rosters or will try to. I tried some Play Now games on the EA Access version. You get no options though rosters wise. The game just starts with the real life rosters loaded.Comment
