yea i was thinking about it this morning too...i was like that might take up some screen...

then again we have buttons pop up when we on defense for pass rush, on offense to break tackles, and offense was a WR for catch options...

but could maybe make a smaller meter below their feet. or even by their arm.

i agree def dont want anything that clogs up the screen

I just thought of the player icon that shows when your controlling a player. A small meter around that would be great. And when using skill players, instead of buttons being display, they color of the button should highlight on that player icon (Yellow for Y,Blue for X) IMO that would clean up the screen big time.

Love the idea, although it seems more ideal that you'd just press and hold the button and let go at the "Correct Spot"...

right!!...on defense for pass rush...enough of the button smashing minin games. every move should be done with right stick and u either press an hold R2 to do finesse moves or L2 to do power moves.

depending on the pass rusher this will help dictate your rush effectiveness. plus u can get more creative with ur moves and feel like ur actually doing something besides pressing square a bunch of times.

Can't get behind this idea at all, sorry.

It just adds more steps to passing and makes it a bit convoluted. You would have big timing issues as well.

I just don't see any benefit to such a system.

the benefit would be a way to incorporate ratings into qbs and their throws better. waaay easier than target passing.

biggest thing is it would give you an easy way to separate elite qbs from mediocre while playing with them as the user
