Madden 16,17 or 18?

How is the roster sharing? I currently am playing Madden 16 Xbox 360 but may be getting Xbox one...is it worth waiting for 18? I casually play xbox a couple times per week and stick to NHL, fifa, Madden sometimes.

I'd like somewhat accurate rosters

I tried getting roster sharing on madden 25 and I never could get any community files. Not sure about official roster updates. I'd assume they disable it because they would you rather buy 18. 17 you can still download rosters , not sure about 16.

dont feel like dropping $60 on a game i know is very similar year to year...i'll look into 17 if i decide to move on from '16 cause right now i have a majority of the rookies...a bummer you can't take files and transfer them like on 360 using horizon.

Madden on the 360 and Xbox One are massively different.

I've been waiting for someone to crack it so Modio and or Horizon would be possible, but it never happened.

I like 16 more than 17 because the qb AI is better but if youre looking for updated rosters and don't want to fork out the money 17 is your best option because you can likely still get the last roster update and can fully edit.

The new one always saves you alot of time though since there's no roster sharing.

Stick with 16, 18 has minimal changes at best.

There's no roster sharing? (side note: is that all ea sports games?)

I know 360 and xbox one are massively different..seems like there is much more that can be done with roster edits and sharing on 360.

well 16 was the last time the old consoles got any updates, 17 was just a roster update so 18 will be too.

i'm aware of that, may decide to get xbox one and if its worth it seeing how madden would be 1 of a few games id get..also play maybe 1-2 times per week at most so would it just sit there.

Madden 18 isn't on 360 or PS3.

really? That's weird, 17 must have sold really poorly then. They were still doing maddens for ps2 until 12.

OP -

if you're getting XBO, then get it with EA Access. You get all the madden games free and 18 for 10 hours if you want to try it. Plus you get all the other EA games free (other than 18 versions) for $29/yr or $5/mo.

but youre' good with 17 and updated rosters from roster share.
