The graphics are good and gameplay wise its better. The C routes are still open. The FS/SS just stands there on up the middle streak plays. You can't edit generic playbooks this year like you could last year. They are formations that are in some generic playbooks that can't be found in the formation list when you do a custom. CFM really hasn't been touched. The MUT bs got upgraded. The AI sometimes plays smart others it as goofy as it was last year. I can keep on going.

Re: Madden 18 worth it?
Im personally starting to think the core Madden game (Franchise, Season, Play Now) is becoming more and more watered down each year because the development team is being spread so thin because of all these new additional modes that keep getting added.
I for one, dont play the additional modes, but I can see how others could enjoy them
So my suggestion would be a simple win win for the fans and for EA and that is to have:
+Core Franchise/Single Season/Play Now game only for a reduced price of $49
(This for all of those fans like us that only want the core gameplay)
+Add on Download of MUT and Fantasy Draft for $10
+Add on Longshot and Another gimmicky feature Download of $5
This model would rake in more money for EA and allow them to assign additional teams exclusively to work on each Module/Mode
And it would give the fans an option to only buy what they need to be happy!

Re: Madden 18 worth it?
I enjoyed the Arcade mode quite a bit. But that could have been a dlc added to Madden 17 and I would have called it a day. It's not enough for me to justify the purchase. Same issues, some new ones, AI problems and and a nicer looking field? Just not enough for me to fork out 60 bucks this year. This is honestly the first Madden I have not bought on launch since Madden 96. And I mean that sincerely.Comment

Re: Madden 18 worth it?
Too me it's not, I played the EA Access version, its too similar to 17, too many of the same animations and presentation is the exact same except for pregame. And after looking at complaints post launch and watching post launch gameplay I'm so happy I didn't buy this game. I'll probably end up picking it up when it goes on sale for 29.99 or just wait for it to hit the vault. The biggest difference is the lighting which makes the graphics look better, player models are the same however.
