Zone play isn't perfect. It's not blown coverages that have been the issue, it's reaction time to the ball in the air.

But what if you have the play the receiver in the adjustments instead play the ball or swat... I just wonder about those settings

Those are what control the interactions in the WR/DB mechanics, not zone coverage.

A defender isn't going to play the ball or swat if he is 10 yards away because he isn't playing the proper zone. That's like saying that using the strip mechanic for your Dline will improve QB accuracy. There is no correlation between the two.

How are these even "out of the box" issues?

Do they even test? Like at all?

There's 2 sides to this. 1) I like how they are asking for our feedback and realize OS is their most dedicated group of gamers, even if we aren't their greatest "cash cow". 2) They already know these are the aspects of gameplay that are "broken" out of the box. They know it, are currently working on it, but use this as a marketing or goodwill tool to buy time and make us feel important to the process while realizing these are real issues and we would tear them apart via social media. I think it's #1, but the point is that they ARE COMMUNICATING with us and are trying to improve the game. I can work with that.

The zones need more than a reaction time fix. Some of the zones don't even cover the area of the field that they should. Curl flats(purple) zones are flat out broken. As well as rest of the flat zones

I agree the zones need tuning/tightening up in their respective areas, but, the wind should be addressed also.

Indoor stadiums are fine, but outdoor stadiums, if it's windy, the special teams punting needs an adjustment. Currently, CPU punter and User punter pooch 30 yard punts into wind. The wind was working fine out of the box last year, but one of the patches messed up punting against the wind.

The only workaround is to sim Play the Moments.

They need to look at sacks!! If you put your pass rush to aggressive and user a dline man on all madden or all pro you can get a sack ever single time!! I dont know how no one has seen this!! Try it. You will see it is an istant block shed. Doesnt matter if only rushing 3. You blow passed the blocker. It is broken
