Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
Yeah that would be much better. I also drafted a studly 82 OVR CB like that in my last draft, but only normal development. Still had 4 players rated higher (1 of them being a FB) and I couldn't find the 4th player rated higher.Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
ok, i'm fairly new to M18 but played a thirty year franchise in M17 and have played most madden over the last seven or so years. i've never seen this.
following the draft, i was checking the UDFA list as i always do when i saw a 78 OVR rated CB.
then i clicked on him and saw this:
a 78 OVR rated CB with quick dev? so cool.Comment

I just drafted this stud with the titans. He was a heisman winner. Played wr and db it said.
Then the cowboys got this this guy who is a superstar progress

I always check the UDFA hoping to find a steal like that. Congrats on finding him.
I typically am just hoping to steal a Quick Dev player with a low overall like a 68-70 or so. I've never seen a player that good end up in FA pool thoughPS5 SN - smurf922Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
what is really annoying is the 1 year contract price and you cant try and resign him until the end of the season, the former should be the league minimum (as there is no morale etc) and the latter should be possible, as in real life ie the gameComment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
I drafted a hb 3 seasons ago in my cfm with the 8th overall pick. Came out the draft with 6’1 218lbs, 94 spd, 93 acc, 95 agi, 94 elu, 95 bcv, and 80 rte running. Had low awr and cth. If I remember correctly he was a 79 or 80 overall and superstar. In his 3rd season he is a 91 ovr.

That’s exactly why this is the studs and freaks because I’ll never see one like that

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
but in M18, you can find starters in UDFA most seasons.
yes, which is why i go through every team after pre-season and check for the UDFA. any who are getting more than a $1.1m, i change into a three year deal to reflect the contracts given in RL.Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
Not so far in my first 3 drafts. I'm sure it is entirely possible though. Outside of FBs and blocking FBs, blocking TEs, kickers, punters, and the occasional 4-3 run stopper DE (converted to DT) there usually aren't any gems that go undrafted.Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
Good for a 4th rounder. Not to **** on your parade though, but 87 speed is gross for a corner. Anything under 92 is ew for me, and a big no. Unless the dude's like 6'4 or something. All you gotta do is look up in dat tree.Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
The Dt is the one who will make a difference.
