Madden 18 - All WR's in Draft "Undrafted"

Started a franchise last night, and sim'd ahead a few times to scout/draft, just to get a feel for it. I scouted nothing but qb's, wr's, and rb's for this first one.

Every WR in the class - every single one - got the "undrafted" score after scouting them. Even guys slated to go in the second. According to the game/scouting, not one college WR was worthy of being drafted in any round. That's a little absurd, no?

90% of the RB's got the same as well. The two first round guys got a first round grade. But after that, nobody else was deemed worthy of being drafted anywhere.

Never saw anything like this before. Am I missing something, or was it just a bad random roll for the class? Will try again later to see what happens, but figured I'd see what others have experienced.

I'm not sure about the HB side of it, but I know the WR part is an issue with the WR ovr formula which is being corrected soon. The WR's are still good attribute wise, but their OVR is low so it projects them out to be a UDFA.

A YouTuber called moonlightswami said the devs are aware of it. I did see the devs tweet also.

It's supposed to be included in the day zero..... When ever that is.

I don't think the fix will be in for offline guys yet. It will likely need to come via patch at some point, unfortunately.

Hopefully they knock a super quick patch out for the offline guys

Run/Pass glitch last year forced them into a quick first patch. I am not sure if this would get that same rush job but if it did your probably looking at somewhere around the week of the 4th I'd guess.

Still no clarity as to whether or not a day 0 or day 1 patch/tuner accompanied the digital retail GOAT version on Monday night or if it will happen on Thursday/Friday with the general release.

A tuner is coming Thursday from my understanding, but I don't know if that is in addition to one that happened with GOAT or if that is the overall release one.

Hahahaha. Well that's the confusion.

There was three playable dates. EA Access, GOAT Edition, and Standard Edition.

In my eyes "official" release is when the game is fully functional and no longer a trial, which was GOAT edition August 22nd.

But it can be spun either way. I've been grinding MUT in the mean time. I feel bad for the people that have no interest in MUT and can't even play their real CFMs yet. Unless they focus on the coach management standpoint, such as playbooks, auto subs, sliders, depth, practice squad, etc, etc, etc.

This is an awesome community. Thanks for the insight, guys. At least I now know it is indeed a glitch, and the devs are aware of it.

I wanted to rebuild my Jets - they did their part by going 0-16 in the sim season and earning me the first pick, and I got my stud qb, but was disappointed there was no wideout to be had.

As a Pat's fan I wanted to pay extra for the GOAT edition to have a copy that said that with Brady on the cover.

Then I was like "Ehhh... I never play MUT, and I always wait a month or more for a patch to finally fix a couple glaring issues that will be there like each and every year.... not worth the extra $$"

Glad I didnt do it.

Hopefully the day 0 patch will hit by at least standard version release day.

I usually play Franchise, but this year I was mildly interested in trying MUT, which is why I went for the GOAT (plus I had some gamestop credit burning a hole in my pocket which allowed me to get it for about $30).

But yes, I'll tinker with MUT until this gets fixed. Maybe they do want to hook us!

I get where you're coming from, but they've already fixed some stuff for cloud cfm's, i.e. regression, so this could already be fixed for cloud cfm's. Nobody has commented either way and sadly I'm out of hours for ea access.
