Yeah, I'm using the Bears and their playbook was my base. The formation where they aren't sticking is one that is in their team playbook. It's really strange because the subs for every other formation I've done have stuck

It's not related to custom playbooks. Haven't played this years game, but last years game, I was using default Panthers playbook and that same formation you mentioned (nickel double A gap) wouldn't stick for me. It would just revert back to default upon exiting the menu. And I wasn't making radical subs, just switching CB's w/ CB's and changing which sides my DE's lined up on

There was another formation I can't quite remember, but I want to say it was either Dollar 3-2-6 or Quarter Normal that wouldn't stick as well. All other formations though would keep their changes. Test those two formations w/ Carolina's default playbook to verify, if you could.

I think it was determined to be a bug last year, one that you can't work around. I can only assume if it's still present in this years game, it also doesn't have a work around. You'll just have to play those formations w/ default sets.

If you're using customs, the exact same formations have to be in both the team default as well as the custom, HOWEVER a few of the formations are just glitched and won't stick no matter what...

I had a couple nickel and dime forms last year that just would revert and there was no known workaround...

Safe to assume this feature "works" the same as last year...

My only workaround has been to sub players positions I want for those 2 formations in game, or if you want to swap corners, do it in your depth chart to match that formation, and swap all the others that DO stick. It takes time, but it's a long way around.

What's the point of having in Franchise if they dont stick?
