Feels like everyone I know is all about MuT. Is MuT the most played feature in Madden?

More than likely yes. Theyve been adding things to MUT the past three games and nothing to CFM.

I only play CFM.

I just think MUT is silly and not immersive.

Yes

The content/updates they put into MUT are crazy and it's clearly a huge financial asset for them. Makes no sense not to make it priority #1

I honestly tried it the other day. Was incredibly boring to me. I don’t see the appeal but plenty of others do. It’s their cash cow

No, it is actually not. I can't seem to find where I saw it now for some reason, but 65% of the player base actually plays CFM.

I think one of the dev's mentioned it in one of the interviews as that sounds vaguely familiar.

To the OP:

Whether it's the most popular feature or not is up for debate but it is definitely the feature that makes the most money for them. It's a gold mine, every MUT player I know shelled out of the GOAT edition and still has dropped even more money on it.

I don't think it would have ever gotten there anyway, but the creation of MUT was definitely the downfall of any chance the Madden franchise had for sim play

No question, I think as the Madden crowd skews to millenials and the insta gratification they've grown up with this is only going to worsen. I cant imagine wanting to play a football simulation and having a team of players that arent on the same team in real life. Or playing someone who is using the same QB and multiple other players that you are. I simply dont see the attraction, then again I dont see the attraction to Facebook or Instagram or Snapchat either. As the saying goes, gettin old aint for sissies
