    Fumble Recoveries not being displayed/tracked

I'm now in Week 13 of my personal online Cloud CFM (1 user) and I have recovered, roughly, 12 fumbles.

My CFM season stats show 0 for my entire team.

I not only don't get them to show up on the stats page, but they don't show up during the in game stats as well.

It's almost become a running joke that I laugh at every time. Any time I recover a fumble, I immediately pause the game and check to see if it's there.

I'll list my latest example from my game last night.

Keanu Neal forces a fumble, Damontae Kazee returns it for a TD. These are the stats that are displayed:

    Keanu Neal: 1 FF

Damontae Kazee: 0 FR, 67 Return Yards, 1 Defensive TD

Has anyone else been experiencing this issue? It's just incredibly frustrating at this point more than anything because it's such a dumb statistic to consistently miss and I'm assuming there's no way to fix this??

I have seen post game stats like that but didn't realize the cause.

I have. I chuckle whenever someone brings up talk about Madden mplementing advance stats. Especially since they can't even get basic stats like FR to work, and before it was half sacks and total tackles.

I've noticed this, too. Kicking stats flaked out for a while, then they seemed to come back, although I know they weren't all there; lots of missed kicks weren't accounted for.

Also have seen this with INT. I have a player with 3 INT through week 6 and the rest of the league leaders have 3, as well. When you sort by INT, my player does not appear (but he does on my team stats - just not on the NFL leaders stats). Very strange and frustrating for us stat geeks!

I'm a fellow stat geek, sad that every release I'm just waiting for posts like this, really puts a damper on the overall enjoyment of the game.

I'm back to playing 17 and broke out 10 and 11 this week and they have excellent stat tracking. Sadly.

It should be embarrassing that in so many ways madden is still being bested by games i played on the Sega Genesis in 1994. I mean how hard is it in 2017 to track statistics.

I kind of blame the publisher. The DEVS probably are on strict time lines to get this game out as fast as possible. They have probably less than 9 months to fork out a new game and are forced to bring out for the NFL season and they clearly are not finished with the game. I wish EA execs would consider going every two years and adopting the mindset of rockstar does for GTA. Give free content, and for extensive DLC, charge 10 bucks or so an you'll keep people happy until the next season comes around and still give roster updates and tweaks or what not. 2 years for a football game would solve most of the obvious glaring issues like stat tracking that should not be a problem. And you'll have the game finished without time contraints.

I would be for that if I felt it would make a difference. I am not so sure they wouldnt just cut the staff in half in that scenario. It will not change until sales tell them they have to. The lag for them seeing that is s extreme because they have the only game for the most popular sport in the country

they're definitely losing their fans though. I've never seen so much negativity on Madden on retail web sites for years. They need to do something different.

Simmed fumbles and fumble recoveries look alright. Although force fumble numbers are quite low. That could be a slider issue.

Is this only happening in games you play in as a user?

What a shock, Madden stat tracking is utter garbage. Not sure why anyone would expect differently at this point. The NFL League Leaders page has been jacked for years now, players missing from NFL but show up on AFC/NFC.

                        Truly pathetic.

I blame the fans. I've only bought 1 madden in the last few years, cause I know it's gonna be hot garbage. So Im doing my part to improve the game by not giving them money for mediocre crap.

Lets be real, there is nobody on this forum who has the right to complain anymore. You all have had enough years to figure out what EA is offering with this title and stop buying it. If you dont wanna do that it's your fault as much as the casual fans that the game always sucks.

Edit:I forgot I did buy last years game. It was actually not bad. But most of you dudes buy it every year regardless.

People want to play a football video game with the latest rosters and why wouldn't they? The NFL is more popular than ever. What's mind boggling from a video game perspective. Imagine if any other franchise had 35 years to improve their game and didn't have to even THINK about game "design" "rules" etc. The NFL has already done the hard work, the rules, the specs, even the artwork is all there for Tiburon to pull from. Then they get an EXCLUSIVE LICENSE. In the late 90s we had 4-5 NFL game options and it made everyone work harder to earn customers money.

At some point they decided to syphon off budget from creating an accurate game of American football, and started spending money on trading cards, story modes, phony marketing features and just horrific sloppy animations, broadcast graphics and other poorly executed elements.
The fact that in 2017 we can't get a replay that keeps the damn ball in frame is ridiculous. Human camera men have been doing it for years, they can't get a 3D simulation to so it.
There are so many poorly executed elements of this game after 35 years that it is incredulous that these guys pat themselves on the back and act as though people who complain are whiny babies. Give me one other option and I'll never complain. But if you have an exclusive and stifle innovation and accuracy so you can sell trading card packs then customers deserve the right to speak out.

That's great and all but EA isnt in the sports business theyre in the video game business. They've figured out that microtransactions makes them more money than sim football games. That's their perogative, they're the one spending millions on the license and to develop AAA titles, so they're taking all the risk. What risks is the consumer taking? Very little, and none if they don't buy it. Seems simple enough to me.

If you guys cared about this, start a kickstarter to outbid EA for the exclusive liscense and then hand it over to another publisher. Seems better than just buying a game to complain about the same stuff every year.
