IR with designation to return

When you IR a guy how can I make it so he can return? The NFL does two players. Is this possible in Madden 18?

Well IRL i believe minium is 8 weeks aftee IR they can be designated to return. However in madden ive never found that option. If its there id also love to know

Madden has a very simplified IR (like most things), when you put someone on IR he is gone for the year.

Wrong. Usually....in Madden 17.....the player was available to return the week after the screen say "Yes" under return.

Last year you could return a player from ir.

I think you can return two guys this year. In my CFM I returned Matt Forte and, unlike last year, I have another player that says YES under return. I believe last year once you returned a guy any other qualified players would change to NO.

Should be 8 weeks after placing a guy on IR that he becomes eligible to return. So in my case Matt Forte was IR'd Week 1, he was no longer injured by Week 8 but wasn't eligible to return until Week 9.

the yes wont appear unless there is a spare roster spot
