Does Game Speed affect LB reaction to run plays ?

If the defense is in man or zone coverage, does the game speed setting influence the initial reaction of the LB to meet and engage the opposing blocker ?

Or, does the level of the game setting - such as Rookie VS All-Madden determine this.

I have seen some great brain cells when it come to AM level.
