Are Weekly Commentary Updates in CFM?

I haven't started a CFM yet because I'm waiting for the opening day rosters and september patch, but I was playing online and noticed Charles Davis talk about hurricane Harvey, and the week prior he mentioned the eclipse. I thought that was really cool.

Is this feature in CFM? I really hope so. Anyone know?

Any new lines should carry over to the players in your CFM. However they will likely be real life lines and not specific to the current CFM storylines that you're having.

So if you run a week to week CFM in hand with the NFL season you'll probably be pretty happy with the content.

They're supposed to carry over into CFM this year which I'm happy for.

I get why they didn't add them to CFM last year, they thought it might be weird to have Charles Davis talk about something that happens in real life Week 7 2017, and you're in Week 3 2021 in your franchise... but I dont mind. I welcome the variety, and I already know that my franchise is not real, so getting the extra lines will just help keep the commentary fresh.

I plan on playing using the Play Now Live to play out my season. The commentary is a big reason why.

They don't stop the 2016 lines years in the future. I'm in 2019 in a fantasy draft franchise, and they still have lines as if it's 2017.

At least once a game if I'm in the redzone I hear "Last year the Jaguars were second only to the Rams in fewest redzone TD's".

            Yeah.
Hearing about real world league happenings during my Franchise kinda "cracks" the immersion for me.

One guy they need to fix is that dude who describes the 1st Round Draft Picks. I swear man, every year there's one Rookie Lineman, whom to which he always makes that remark:

"This guy better be careful with his weight, before he ends up eating himself out of the league".

            Lol why fam
