How I would improve Madden

To me, the game looks great and with the proper sliders, plays like a real NFL game.


That said, here are a few things I would love to see in future Maddens


1. Single season mode
2. Simpler team control with a way to just put a check mark on the teams you want to control
3. LS as an actual position
4. Holder on the depth chart (or hard code the P as the holder as in real life)
5. Have a Non-Injury reserve where you can put suspended players
6. Editable injuries and more flexibility with the IR
7. Revamp the Practice Squad to make more players eligible. Right now, only players with 1 or 0 years are eligible in the game, but in real life, there are guys on PS's who have been in the league 2 or 3 years.
8. Add cheerleaders to the sidelines
9. Improve the half time show

1. Signature animations and more individual differences among players
2. More weather effects-wind, rain, snow affect ball conditions, game style changes (eg, can't throw deep and accurate , wobbly balls, wet, snow affect traction
3. Detailed sidelines, edit stadium music, crowd chants
4. CPU AI-- way better on offense and defense , time management
5. Training team in off season.. weights, running drills, sled
6. More team differences and game plans-double teams , pressure QB, blitz pa kGes - should be differences playing Baltimore defense compared to Packers or Cowboys
7. More presentation - half time show , playoffs, highlights

A franchise mode that's that's as good as other sports games from 10-15 years ago. I mean, we won't get a franchise as good as sports games today, but maybe, just maybe, they can be as good as a game from 2005 next year.
