Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
Simple question: If EA told all the sim players that it's working on a DLC to improve and enhance CFM, would you pay for it? Say $10 or so?

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
In all honesty that would make irate. Look at the effort other sports games put into franchise and association modes into the base game. There's no excuse for extra payment for them actually working on franchise mode. Its simply a matter of a business that does not care at all about a large portion of loyal fans. If they cared at all or had any amount of pride CFM players wouldn't be ignored year after year. -
Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
I would if it was what I wanted in a franchise mode, I just don't see them ever going in this direction. It will still take resources to fix CFM and I don't think they feel an enhanced CFM will bring in the revenue to make it worth dedicating those resourcesComment

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
I guess it really depends what it is. I wouldn't be happy about it but if you're gonna get me to buy DLC this is the way to do it.

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
Highly depends on what the DLC consisted of.
I would never pay extra for standard franchise mode features.
But something like more prebuilt teams relocation/expansion? Sure I could do thatComment

I would rather they came out with two different games each year. Madden franchise and Madden MUT/H2H competitive.

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
I'd definitely be interested, but they definitely need to fix a LOT of bugs in the game before I'd look into buying it again. I traded it back in and redownloaded M17 because I honestly could not deal with the God awful QB and O-Line AI, as well as the blown coverages.
If they fixed those issues, made a better, immersive "career mode" for players, I'd consider it. For now, I'm just waiting until it comes to EA Access like M17 did earlier this year. Maybe it won't be as broken.

But improved gameplay would have to be part of it.

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
Since I am in the camp that feels like gameplay will always have flaws, yes. I think this needs to be defined a bit more from a question standpoint. Am I willing to pay more for an enhanced draft? No. That should part of the game. Would I pay a few bucks more for a second broadcast team, that comes with the ESPN and NFL Network branding. Yeah.
Would I pay more for old alternate unis? Yep. Did that in NCAA all the time.
Would I pay more for full customization on a relocated treat functions? More stadiums, team names, and locations? If the announces would call everything by their name, including new city and team name, yep!Comment

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
For me, I'd pay a few extra dollars if it meant that the existing CFM experience got a major boost. Additional feature elements, and enhanced CPU AI, that sort of thing.
If it means that they'd have to do the work to build and package the enhancements, at least it means that the work is now done and ready for next year. Where I draw the line is at the cost. If it's too high, it's just another high profit offering. Of course, all DLC gets fully vetted and marketed before people shell out the money, so it's a sure bet.Comment

Re: Question: would you pay extra for enhanced CFM?
Simply put, YES!
$10 is small price to pay to eliminate "lab" time. I have gotten to the point of frustration regarding Madden. Last year I never completed a full season in a CFM. Due to "SLIDERITIS". All I do is change sliders back and forth to replicate a true simulation football game. Every time we change a slider and get gameplay close to sim, another patch comes out and destroys all the previous work.
If the game was truly geared to simulation football and made us sim gamers happy it would upset the online/MUT crowd. So the only answer I can see would be a DLC or "sim" game add on.
It is sad that we even have to consider this an option. Compared to the Show and 2K, Madden's CFM is poor. But if it gets me true simulation football, I would pay $100 for it!Comment
