Help with passing

I feel like 90% of the interceptions I throw are by a LB or safety that comes down and is underneath the receiver. Often times it appears they leap and intercept the ball when the receiver is 10 yards behind them. What am I doing wrong?

have you tried user catches? I never trust the CPU

This has happened a lot to me too. I call it warped high-pointing, where they charge the ball, leap, and get it at the high point. I didn't notice this on previous maddens. They also fudge the animations so that the defenders can magically avoid crashing into the receivers when they do this.

I've just learned to avoid making throws that are within their range.

Problem is that the receiver behind them is often open when the ball is released.

Are you throwing bullet passes? Sometimes you'll be able to drop the ball in over the defender if you do a touch pass

Either find a better throwing lane or try double tapping the receiver icon to throw a touch pass.
