I've played 3 games where I've been capturing it and it's happened 6-7 times. I didn't record one because I wasn't sure but I realized later that they can happen differently. The most obvious is when the entire line gets pancaked immediately but there's been a couple of times where it's really hard to notice because most of the line will stay up but there will be the instant pancakes elsewhere. Going to play one more game and put them all together in a video.

Wondering if the issue is related to minimum speed threshold at all... I play at 50, but I’m gonna test it at 0 and see if anything changesCup or Bust (NHL 13)

Re: Pancake issue narrowed down (Audible to Run)
So i asked my league guys last night , when you see it happen try to make note of when , and give me link, first night after asking this , got one :
50:40 Mark . Dude runs 3-4 ( not a weak box) and has 4 guys rushing , yet , here it is for 31 yard gain.....
Glad someone started a thread on it , and may have some clue of any possible triggers. Its rather stupid to be honest. Ive seen it numerous times, and have heard about it in our league numerous times. Its made me not be willing to even run dollar d anymore because of this crap. Has no place in the game. Correct blocking does and would eleminate the "need" for this .
Hope someone figures it out exactly what causes it .Comment

Re: Pancake issue narrowed down (Audible to Run)
Just had it happen in franchise with no audible and not a weak box. I have the video on my phone and can text it to anyone who can get it to an appropriate person.Comment

Re: Pancake issue narrowed down (Audible to Run)
Sorry to say, but showing it in replay mode (if that's the only way you could record it) is not gonna help much - just speaking from experience.
Both consoles make it possible to record live gameplay - just say the word and I'll explain (at least for PS4)Comment

On your phone? were you able to get live gameplay of it or just replay mode?

If that's not the right kind of evidence, I'll try the live game play recording or any other mechanism you'd suggest.Comment

Re: Pancake issue narrowed down (Audible to Run)
You need to know which Share button mode you're in first. Press the Share button once while in-game. if the Share menu slides in from the left, you're in Standard mode. If it doesn't, press and hold the button. If it slides in after that, you're in "Easy Screenshots" mode.
So basically, when you want to record something that just happened you need to bring up this menu and press square to "Save Video Clip". These saved clips will go to your Capture Gallery on the PS4 home screen, sorted by the specific game. To upload one of these clips, highlight it and press/hold share. At this point you'll choose which service you want to upload to (twitter is one of them) and you'll probably have to enter your twitter login info to link your account to your PSN. You'll then be asked to trim down your video if need be (Youtube will never do this, but Twitter probably will).
I'm not entirely familiar with Twitter, so I'm not sure about the details of how to send it directly to people. I guess if you @ them in the comment they'll probably get the message, but you could always send a separate tweet to them and link the video, which should show up in your own timeline looking something like this:
That's how you get live gameplay after you see something that catches your eye, be it good ,bad, or whatever. This all isn't as complicated as I'm making it sound, I'm just really thorough.Good luck!
Almost forgot - you can go into the Sharing and Broadcast settings menu and go to video clip settings to set the length of time you want the video to go back. So, if it's set to 10 minutes, the PS4 will be passively recording the last 10 minutes while you play, and if you save the video clip it becomes an actual recording. You can change this recording length in increments from 30 seconds up to 1 hour.Comment

You're the man, bcruise! Thanks for such a helpful response.
The clip is edited and up on my Twitter @ TMOS42. I've tagged Millenium there to ask how to get this clip to the right folks in the right way.Comment
