Switching/changing not shining. Sorry for the typo.

During the initial game setup, if you pick competitive in intro, then change to Sim during CFM, it turns the reality switch on.

So comp in main menu, then sim in CFM?

Not sure if the adjustment “takes” the same way if you dont delete profile and select Comp during intro.

No need for that. Just delete the profile. Go to manage and share—->load and delete—->delete profile——>don’t back out screen when you mash ok for file is deleted—->go to home screen (on xbox mash the button that glows and quit madden—->start game—->go through intro—->select competitive and expert

Reinstalling the game takes too long and isn’t neccesary. This is the way to go because its best to delete the profile after each game played. Game just plays better this way.

              Re: Dynamic Difficulty

Dynamic Difficulty imo, should control how fast a team/players can adjust to your tendencies and force you out of your comfort zone.

I want Madden to be more like a chess match. They seem to do it somewhat on offense, if the cpu gets any consistent yards rushing on 1st down, they keep rushing until you stop it. They just need to build a more adaptive ai.
Especially week to week teams in the NFL adjust (good coaches) and they try to takeaway your strengths. Week to week coaches should automatically know what you just did the previous game and adjust.

I posted this a few times. For me, the future of Madden difficulty levels and AI generally is a VIP system like that of NFL 2k5 (similarly the avatar system used by Forza). You'd have different profiles for different coaches, but users (you might play them in your league or download their profile) can also be played against. Tracking tendencies to build the profile when most of that data is already kept should be is simple. Playcalling tendencies. Pass tendencies. Run tendencies. Inside runs or outside runs. What kind of plays are called on 2nd down, 3rd down, etc. But the real success of this would be replicating the decisions that actual NFL head coaches call every week of the season. Every game on the schedule would be realistic. A team would no longer have a style, that would come from their head coach which means that a different coach changes the style of that team.

You could even categorise players as 'SIM', or 'COMPETITIVE' and download their profile. That way your style of game would be determined by your opponent rather than an option at the settings screen.

I'm a huge advocate of this idea.
