Its for when you play as a player, I would not read into it more than that. They give you Superstar so you can actually have a shot at developing

Madden has NEVER had custom draft classes.

I think he was referring to imported draft classes from NCAA Football 14. They were, in a way, custom draft classes as they weren't generated by the game.

These give an idea of the OVR rating levels of 1st, mid-round and Undrafted structures.

Thanks for this. I’ll update my master spreadsheet with these guidelines

Edit: I’m ignoring the parameters for development that would skew everything if early picks or UDFA had those development traits.

How is everyone planning on handling Custom Draft classes for their Online CFM? Sorry if this has already been addressed but I'm very curious to see how this plays out with the commissioner having the ability to see everything about a player?

Looking for any input as our league is currently discussing how we will handle this.

Yeah no way to do it this year without the commish having a leg up.

Have Commish Sim his/her Draft w/no setting of draft board.

They’ve redone some AI drafting logic that their selections makes more sense to roster needs, so it’s not like they’re going to get the short end of the stick letting the AI Draft this year.

In M18, only a handful of players POS ratings went above “80”, rest of the Draft was 70’s and below w/designated Dev Traits.

- so a league rule could be no editing of POS ratings
- looking at videos, the AWR rating is being used in M19 to “fluff” some Draftees OVR to be higher, so as long as POS aren’t touch there shouldn’t be any advantage

You guys realize the commish can download the class and then back out, right? Nothing will force him to go through the ratings.

If you online CFM guys are playing with people you trust, this is a non issue. Just download a class someone else made, don't open it to edit, and that way there are no advantages to anyone.

There will be tons of high rated classes that I am sure people can trust will be good classes. I don't see why everyone is so worried about this unless you don't trust your commish or something. Just download some higher rated ones that other people made, and no one will know the ratings. That's how I will do it with my friends if we do an online CFM.

If you use a high rated draft class nothing stops any of the 32 league members from downloading and looking at it separately. Customs are full of issues no good league will bother dealing with.
